Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there’s an update to pass along regarding Judi Evans’ (Adrienne Kiriakis and Bonnie Lockhart) health. As many DOOL fans have heard, Evans was injured and hospitalized following a horseback riding accident. That led to the discovery of a blood clot on Evans’ lung. This is also known as a pulmonary embolism and is certainly a very serious situation.
According to Soap Hub, Evans is now facing surgery. Unfortunately, that surgery was delayed and will have to be rescheduled. Evans’ publicist, Howie Simon, offered the latest news on her upcoming procedure and insisted that Evans’ lungs are the main concern.
The Days of Our Lives actress will remain in the hospital for a while as she fights to recover. Evans’ publicist acknowledged the threat of COVID-19 and suggested that protecting Evans from pneumonia was vital.
DOOL fans definitely wish Evans well as she tries to make it to the other side of all this. She’ll have to be monitored closely, but we’re sure she’s got an expert medical team behind her.
The NBC soap still hasn’t resumed production due to the COVID-19 aka coronavirus crisis, so Evans isn’t missing any work. She can just focus on her recovery in peace and feel all the love viewers are sending her way.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Evans will make an onscreen return to DOOL. Evans has already filmed scenes that’ll air down the road, so everyone’s eager to see if Bonnie will stir up some trouble or if Adrienne will make a startling return from the dead. Evans has done double duty before, so she may even play both roles.
Let’s hope Evans can resume doing what she loves following this terrible ordeal and the COVID-19 situation at Days. Evans is definitely a talented and beloved actress, and we’re all rooting for her!
