Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that spring is quickly approaching, and that’s got a lot of DOOL fans anxiously awaiting a big return that’s said to be happening – that of Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). According to DOOL buzz, Stefan will be returning to canvas as soon as April, and that’s great news for “Stabi” and Brandon Barash fans. The pairing of Stefan and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) was immensely popular and fans are hoping for a great reunion between the two.
Stefan will have a lot to catch up on when he returns, including Gabi’s relationship and marriage to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). But something tells us that Stefan won’t be too upset about the whole thing – after all, Gabi’s relationship with Eli was mostly about getting revenge on Lani Price (Sal Stowers) for shooting Stefan. It seems like Stefan may understand this, and he’ll probably see where Gabi was coming from.
But Stefan may not be too happy about another development in Salem since he’s been gone, and that’s the way Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has come back and gotten in the middle of DiMera business. As DOOL viewers will remember, Stefan was perfectly happy when Chad and Abigail DiMera (Kate Mansi) left Salem for Paris, and he probably won’t be pleased to see his brother back and living at the mansion.
But there’s another wrinkle here, and that’s that Chad and Gabi have been the harshest of business rivals since Stefan has been gone. Until recently, Gabi was the acting CEO of DiMera Enterprises, which Chad couldn’t stand. And we have to imagine that Stefan probably won’t be happy about the way Chad has treated Gabi during the time he’s been gone.
In fact, the brothers could be back to square one in their tumultuous relationship. DOOL viewers will remember that the two fought bitterly over Abigail when she was having her dissociative identity disorder. Those wounds probably won’t have healed even after Stefan comes back, and once Stefan finds out about how Chad has treated Gabi, he’ll probably go into fierce protective mode for his wife.
In addition, the brothers will probably go head-to-head for control of DiMera Enterprises again. Interestingly, there will be the addition of another character this spring as well who could get into the mix here – Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), who is the son of the powerful DiMera board member Mr. Shin (Michael Hagiwara). Li is a contemporary of Stefan and Chad, and it’s possible that he could vie for the top spot at DiMera as well.
Or he could ally with one of the brothers against the other, and if that’s the case, it probably won’t be Chad whom he partners with. Viewers of the DOOL digital series “Chad & Abby In Paris” know that Li didn’t exactly get along with Chad, and he actually fired him from DiMera at one point. Throw Li into the battle between Chad and Stefan and you could end up seeing some major drama!
