Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Vincent Belman (Michael Teh) is clearly messing with Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) emotions. Vincent claims Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is indeed dead, but he’s just making a last-ditch effort to cause pain.
After all, there’s no logical reason for Vincent to blow up the car if he shot Ciara dead. Why not let Ben weep over Ciara’s body? Vincent’s plan was to make Ben suffer the way he suffered after Wendy Taylor’s (Denice Duff) death.
DOOL fans will recall that Vincent told Ciara about the horrible crime scene photos he was forced to look at.
If Vincent truly killed Ciara, it would make no sense to destroy the bloody corpse and leave no trace of her behind. Vincent wanted Ben to mourn this loss, so why not produce a body for a heartbreaking funeral and burial – the whole nine yards?
Vincent’s going with this vague approach because he has to. He obviously didn’t kill Ciara, so he’s working his last possible angle to create pain for Ben. If you want more proof that Ciara’s alive, look no further than Days Executive Producer Ken Corday’s promise in SOD a few weeks ago.
“Victoria Konefal [Ciara] has left … and will return … and will leave again, so she’ll be coming and going,” Corday said. “But we haven’t seen the last of her.”
As Corday talked about other returning cast members, he acknowledged that Days of Our Lives rarely does forever farewells. “It’s something we don’t like doing, closing the door permanently,” Corday insisted.
Konefal is no longer a full-time cast member, but Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will remain part of the show whenever possible. With all this in mind, when can DOOL viewers expect to see Ciara again? It’s reasonable to assume we’ll see Ciara again before 2020 concludes based on Corday’s interview.
Corday was talking about stories, exits and returns that are coming up this fall and winter. Since Corday mentioned Victoria Konefal in that interview, Ciara’s comeback shouldn’t be too far off. Of course, there’s no guarantee Ciara will return in the flesh!
It’s possible we’ll see Ciara in Ben’s dreams again – perhaps to relay a message this time around. Ciara might reach out to Ben in a way. These two have a deep connection, so that’s one option to consider. It’s also possible we’ll see Ciara apart from Ben – perhaps in captivity or living somewhere with amnesia.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers say a “Cin” reunion should happen sooner or later. DOOL’s created a mystery surrounding Ciara and wherever she is now. They have to unravel that mystery, so it should hopefully lead to Ciara’s discovery and homecoming eventually.
