Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, July 15 Recap - Nicole & Sami Cake Brawl - Ivan Says Jake Is Stefan’s Twin

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, July 15, reveal that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was carefully drafting a text to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) at the DiMera mansion when Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) came in. Lucas said that he had nothing to say to Bonnie, but Bonnie said that she brought a peace offering – a copy of her new paperback with a personalized inscription just for Lucas. Bonnie insisted that Lucas read the inscription, and Lucas reluctantly agreed.

The inscription was a bit tawdry, and it stated that Bonnie wanted to share another night of passion with Lucas. Lucas quit reading in disgust, and he tried to send Bonnie on her way, but Bonnie poured herself a martini and insisted on helping Lucas with his situation with Allie. Bonnie suggested that Lucas not give up, since they as parents know what’s best for their kids. Bonnie was hoping that Lucas would then let her help him with Allie.

However, Lucas decided that he needed to call Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) after all, and he got on the phone with Sydney DiMera. Sydney informed Lucas that Sami was already in Salem. Lucas looked horrified, and a little bit scared. “Looks like Hurricane Sami already blew into town,” Lucas said.

At the Brady Pub, everyone stared at Sami standing in the doorway. Allie said, “Oh no,” and Sami mused that no one invited her to the wedding. Sami was peeved, and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) hopped up and asked Sami quietly not to create a scene. Sami announced that she was here for her daughter, and she walked toward Allie, who happened to have a cape over her belly.

Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) said that this wasn’t a good time, and Sami said that she went to Eric’s apartment first, then decided to swing by the pub, only to find the wedding going on. Eric tried to explain that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) was the one who wanted Sami there, but Sami just assumed that Nicole had cut her out of the wedding. Suddenly, Allie stepped forward and said that SHE was the one who didn’t want Sami there. Sami was stunned, but for the moment Allie’s baby bump was hidden.

Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) suggested that they “don’t do this right now,” but Sami wanted to talk with Allie right then and there. Sami wondered what Allie was hiding from her, and she blasted her daughter for her partying behavior in London. Eric said that Allie had been nothing but respectful here, and Sami was a little relieved but said that it was time to go home. Allie said she wasn’t going, and Allie proceeded to defend Nicole against Sami’s verbal attacks.

Allie revealed that Nicole had made her feel welcome and that she told Nicole things that she could never tell Sami. Sami fumed, saying, “Alice Caroline Horton, you are coming home now!” Allie then revealed her pregnant belly, and Sami was shocked and horrified. Sami fumed at everyone for knowing that Allie was pregnant and not telling anyone.

Abe Carver (James Reynolds) took this as his cue to leave, telling Sami on the way out that he didn’t know about the pregnancy and that she should take it easy on Allie. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Roman took Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander) out for ice cream, and then the real fireworks began. Sami wanted Nicole to leave, but Allie wanted Nicole to stay. Sami found out that Lucas knew about the pregnancy, and she started yelling again.

Sami finally calmed down a bit, saying that she was just in shock. But soon, Sami was calling Allie irresponsible and acting just like Lucas, and Allie wasn’t having it. Allie fired back that Sami had been pregnant as a teen, and Sami exploded, saying that she was too young to have a child, too, and that she fully understood how this would change Allie’s life.

Allie then disclosed that she was giving her baby up for adoption, and Sami insisted that she was “not going that route.” Marlena calmly interjected that this was Allie’s choice. Allie got upset and said that she was giving up the baby and that Sami couldn’t stop her. Allie ran out of the pub, and Marlena and Eric stopped Sami from going after her.

Sami then turned to Nicole and blamed her for convincing Allie to put her baby up for adoption. Nicole said that Sami was handling this the wrong way. Sami said that she was not going to take parenting advice from a baby-stealing ex-porn star, and Nicole said that Allie wouldn’t have run away if Sami was a better mother. And with that, Sami rushed Nicole and they toppled into the cake table, smooshing cake everywhere.

Sami and Nicole brawled on the floor, slipping around in the mashed cake. Sami eventually got up and Eric tried to contain her. Nicole took the opportunity and smashed some cake in Sami’s face. Eric was appalled, and he tried to stop Nicole and Sami, but he was no match for them. Nicole and Sami continued throwing cake at each other, and Sami yelled, “You tried to turn my daughter against me, and you are going to pay for it!”

In town square, Roman, John, and Holly enjoyed ice cream. John and Roman were glad that at least Nicole and Eric got to finish the ceremony, and they wondered what was going on over at the pub. John openly wondered whether Sami was more of a handful as a teen or now. Roman and John decided that it was a toss-up. Soon, Abe came along and chatted with them all.

In the park, Marlena caught up with Allie, who was sobbing. “I hate her! I hate my mother,” Allie cried, and Marlena offered comfort, saying that Allie didn’t mean that. Allie said that she didn’t want Sami to ever find out about this. Marlena said that it was going to come out eventually, and Allie said that with her mother, everything always goes to hell.

At the Salem PD, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) told Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) that he had been hiking in the Himalayas, but that he had returned for her. Vivian explained what was going on with the charges against her and with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) being alive, and Ivan winced. Ivan instructed his “madame” to call Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and summon him there because he had a story to tell.

Over at Jake’s apartment, Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) worried since Jake just injected himself with the memory serum. Jake and Gabi bickered, and Gabi threatened to hit Jake over the head to help the serum work. Soon, Vivian called Gabi and said that she and Jake needed to get over to the police station. Vivian wondered if the serum had worked. Gabi said not yet, while Ivan paced and looked uncomfortable.

Gabi and Jake arrived in the interrogation room, and Vivian introduced Ivan as her manservant. Ivan quipped that he wasn’t technically a manservant, and that he had been a man of independent means for some time now. After some rehashing of why Ivan had kept Stefan from Vivian in the first place, Ivan explained that there was a little more to the story, and that after Stefan’s birth, the doctor realized that Vivian was still in labor.

Not too quick on the uptake, Vivian didn’t immediately comprehend what Ivan was saying, but Gabi did. “Oh my God,” Gabi said. “He’s saying you had twins, Vivian!” Vivian looked horrified, and Jake got quiet. Vivian and Jake looked at each other in total shock.
