Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, September 16, tease that Belle Black (Martha Madison) will unleash her wrath on Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). Belle just returned home to find Jan with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), so she warned Jan to “get the hell away” from her daughter.
Jan will undoubtedly insist she was just offering support – especially since Claire’s loved ones left her all alone during this difficult time.
However, Belle will insist that Jan needs to stay away from Claire and anyone else she cares about. As far as Belle’s concerned, anybody connected to the Black and Brady families is off-limits. Of course, Claire should be confused since her new friend has seemingly been so kind.
That’s when Belle will reveal this new “friend” of Claire’s is actually Jan Spears – one of her parents’ worst enemies. Claire should be a bit freaked out by this revelation, but did Jan already do enough to get through to her?
Jan was able to make Claire think they have so much in common, but Belle will work hard to make Claire see that Jan’s a manipulative menace.
Later, Jan will run into Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) in the town square. It won’t be long until Philip grabs Jan’s arm and vows to take care of her permanently.
The encounter may leave Jan rattled, but it’ll leave Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) excited about a new idea. It looks like Xander might spot Jan with Philip and decide Jan could be a useful pawn in his game.
Naturally, Xander’s ultimate goal here will be pushing Philip off their shared Titan throne. Since Xander wants the CEO position all to himself, he’ll hope Jan can help him achieve that.
Over with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), he’ll welcome an old pal from the Congo. Days spoilers say Angie (Nzinga Blake) will show up to deliver a life-altering proposal.
Eric will listen to Angie’s offer, which will lead him out of Salem if he accepts it. This is the start of Eric’s brief exit arc, so this is indeed a setup for Eric to leave town. Eric will take Angie up on her offer next week, but he’ll just hear his old friend out for now.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will get a visit from Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Sami will arrive with a tiny cactus as a get-well present, so maybe that’s all the gift shop will have to offer.
Regardless, Sami will be glad that John’ awake and alert – at least until he decides to call her out for her behavior before his collapse.
Sami was hoping they could just leave the past in the past, but John won’t be willing to do that. Instead, John will resort to name-calling and will eventually hurl the cactus in Sami’s direction. Sami will give as good as she gets for the most part, so this will rev up the feud between them all over again.
However, there’s more going on here than just conflict between a stepdad and his stepdaughter. John’s got some issues that are related to his recent medical crisis.
As John’s brain continues to heal, he’ll have plenty of outbursts and will even get violent at times. It’ll be a lot for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to deal with, but she’ll be there for John every step of the way.
As for Sami, she’ll face another shocker when Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) shows back up in town. Allie will likely find Sami holding her grandson and make it clear that this is so NOT happening! You can bet Allie will have a huge problem with Sami stealing custody of the kid, so stay tuned for more DOOL drama.
