Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview teases that we’re in for a big Valentine’s week, according to the new DOOL promo for the week of February 10-14. Romance will definitely be in the air for two DOOL couples, but it looks like one couple will experience a major blowup while the other manages to run away together but face some big risks on the way. And we’ve got the scoop about what you can expect right here!
First off, Valentine’s Day will bring a wedding – the wedding of Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). The new DOOL promo shows Gabi walking down the aisle, accompanied by her brother Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), then alongside Eli at the altar. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will officiate, and everyone will be all smiles.
But what neither Gabi nor Eli will know is that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) is set to crash their wedding. As DOOL viewers know, Lani is enraged with Gabi right now. Gabi still has control of Julie’s pacemaker, and even thought her pacemaker will ultimately get replaced, it seems that Gabi will try to finagle control of the new device as well. At any rate, Lani is shown in the preview fuming about Gabi and the hold she still has over her.
But according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, something big is going to go down at Gabi and Eli’s wedding. In the promo, Lani is shown lurking around the event, and Gabi is shown giving someone the evil eye from the altar, and chances are, it will be Lani. Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Lani will ultimately crash the wedding, and it looks like chaos will ensue.
But will Lani come forward publicly with what Gabi has done? And will Julie be ok? After all, Gabi literally has Julie’s life in her hands, since she controls the pacemaker with an app on her phone.
DOOL viewers will have to stay tuned to see how it all turns out, but ongoing Days spoilers indicate that Julie will end up collapsing for some reason, so we’ll see if Gabi blasts Julie’s heart in retaliation for Lani’s actions.
Next, the new DOOL preview addresses another critical situation – the escape of Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) from prison. Ben and Clyde Weston (James Read) have just started their prison break, with an assist from Will Horton (Chandler Massey). But things won’t go exactly as Ben and Clyde had planned.
According to DOOL spoilers, a guard will eventually catch up with Ben and Clyde, and Ben will wind up getting shot. But it certainly doesn’t look like the wound will be serious or debilitating for Ben, as he’ll still be able to make his way out of the prison and to the rendezvous point. When Ben gets to the rendezvous point, he’ll see a bright light and he’ll fear that he’s been caught.
But, as the promo shows, the light will be emanating from Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) motorbike, and she’ll be there to pick up Ben and take him on his way. Ben will be completely shocked by the whole thing, because it will mean that Ciara was in cahoots with Clyde in the whole prison break.
In the coming week, look for Ben and Ciara to try to decide where to go from here. In the short-term, they’ll hide out in the DiMera gatehouse, but that probably won’t be a great hiding place for long. In fact, it seems like it would be the first place that anyone would look! They’ll have to figure out their next move, which could just be to go on the run.
