Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview teases that viewers are in for some exciting episodes during the week of September 7. We should note that Days of Our Lives will not air on Monday, September 7 due to the Labor Day holiday, but the remainder of the week looks action-packed, so that’s something to look forward to. The new DOOL preview promo for the week is full of drama, so let’s get right into it!
First off, the promo shows some intense scenes involving Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) search for Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal). According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Ben, Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will search frantically for Ciara.
Now that they know that Vincent (Michael Teh) has Ciara, the race will be on.
Of course, Ben, Hope, and Shawn don’t yet know Vincent’s motive for taking Ciara, but viewers know that Vincent was the significant other of Wendy Taylor (Denice Duff), the midwife that Ben shot and killed back in his murderous days. Now Vincent wants revenge on Ben, and he plans to take Ciara away from Ben permanently.
Well, the promo shows Ciara and Vincent in a car together, with Ciara looking unnerved as Vincent creepily touches her hair. It looks like Vincent will take Ciara to a private airstrip, and that Vincent will face down Ben.
It’s likely that Vincent will tell Ben exactly why he took Ciara, which should absolutely horrify Ben. But it won’t horrify Ben as much as the explosion that appears to occur right in front of him.
It’s looking very much like Ciara, and possibly even Vincent, will appear to be killed in the explosion, which may occur on an aircraft on that airstrip. Whatever the case, Ben is going to witness the explosion, as this is shown in the preview, with Ben screaming out for Ciara.
We’ll see how it all goes down, but this is clearly the way that Ciara will exit canvas for the time being.
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo shows the return of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to Salem. As viewers are aware, Abigail showed up at the DiMera mansion on Friday’s episode just as Gwen (Emily O’Brien) was forcing Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) into a hug.
The promo shows Abigail confronting Gwen. “Hi, I’m Abigail,” Abigail says. “What are you doing in my husband’s arms?” Gwen laughs nervously, as Abigail stares her down.
During the week of September 7, viewers will learn exactly why Abigail is back from the facility in Florida and why she decided to surprise Chad with her appearance.
Last DOOL viewers knew, Abigail was better, but she was still experiencing ongoing hallucinations, and she was supposed to have a couple of months left of treatment. So, why is Abigail back now? And how will she react when she sees Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash)?
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo addresses Tripp Dalton’s (Lucas Adams) return to Salem. In the promo, Tripp is shown interacting with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).
There’s some serious history between Claire and Tripp, since they used to be an item and since Tripp was also a target of Claire’s rage in the past. It looks like Tripp will offer his heartfelt apologies to Claire, as Claire tells Tripp the he was one of the people she loved the most.
It will probably be an awkward conversation at first, and it appears that Claire and Tripp will bump into each other by chance outside the Brady Pub. But after a nice conversation, it looks like Tripp and Claire will get back on decent terms.
Across town, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) is shown on the phone with her bestie Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), and the topic of Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will come up.
Kristen will apparently be stunned to learn that Eli knows that she’s in Salem, which seems weird, especially since Kristen left Rachel Black (Emma, Kate, and Miller Kamienski) with Lani in the home that Lani shares with Eli.
Anyway, the promo shows Kristen expressing concern to Lani about Eli being in the loop, and Lani tells Kristen that she’ll “handle” Eli. But Eli will overhear Lani’s end of the conversation, and he’ll question Lani about her saying that she’ll “handle” him. It looks like Lani will have a little bit of explaining to do.
The new Days of Our Lives preview also addresses the ongoing drama that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is inflicting on everyone in her life. As DOOL viewers will remember, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was incensed when she learned that Sami had gotten Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) out of a mental facility and brought her to Salem.
Of course, Jan caused a LOT of havoc for Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn in the past, and Marlena is not happy to have her back and near her family.
It appears that a stressed-out Marlena will lash out at Sami when Sami comes to John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) hospital room to offer her support. Marlena is shown confronting Sami, blasting her for unleashing Jan on their family. “Thanks a lot – Nicely done, Sami,” Marlena fumes in the promo.
Of course, Sami can’t see what the big problem is, and she’ll probably offer the same old excuses that she gave Belle this past week. Marlena should let Sami have it.
Finally, the new Days of Our Lives promo shows a frightening moment for Belle, as she’s sitting in town square alone at night. It appears that Belle will be on edge due to Jan’s presence in Salem.
And you can’t really blame Belle since Jan recently tried to blow up the “Last Blast Reunion” gang’s reunion party. Well, Belle will get spooked when someone comes up behind her and puts his hands on her shoulder.
Thinking that it’s Jan, Belle will jump and end up pushing the person – who turns out to be Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – right onto the ground. Philip will really take a tumble, so it will be a memorable first meeting in Salem for Belle and Philip.
Of course, Belle and Philip have a romantic history, which is something that Shawn is quite sensitive about, so we should see some interesting interactions between Shawn, Philip, and Belle going forward.
