Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the holiday season is almost upon us – or maybe it’s already here depending on how early you like to celebrate! Thanksgiving is just around the corner and then Christmas will be here before you know it.
Unfortunately, there’s one Salemite who won’t be in a celebratory mood this year – and that’s Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
Of course, Ben might join in a party or two anyway. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) feels rather maternal toward Ben, so she may reach out to him before the major holidays. It’s tough to imagine Marlena forgetting about Ben, who’ll be all alone.
Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) may also invite Ben to some family gatherings, though we should mention there’ll be a lot going on for Claire’s family. Claire, Marlena, John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will all be in crisis mode thanks to Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) soon.
However, things may settle down by the time Christmas rolls around. Ben may score an invitation to be part of some holiday festivities, but he may not be feeling festive enough for that. This will be Ben’s first Christmas without Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), so that could bring another wave of intense grief.
Will Ben spend the holidays alone or could he get a surprise reunion? This seems like the perfect opportunity for Ben to have another vision of Ciara. It would just be in Ben’s head, but it’d be better than nothing.
Perhaps Ben could even have a Christmas fantasy of what might’ve been. That would allow “Cin” fans to get a little taste of the romance they’ve been missing. Victoria Konefal was part of DOOL’s 55th anniversary cast photo, so Days of Our Lives spoilers say more appearances should be coming up for Ciara.
It’s hard to think about Ben having such a blue Christmas without Ciara by his side, but maybe this fantasy idea could remedy that. Although Ciara actually survived lying Vincent Belman’s (Michael Teh) plot, Days probably isn’t ready to reveal that yet. A sweet holiday fantasy would be the next best thing and would fit with the show’s pattern so far.
