Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) joy will turn into total despair. DOOL fans know Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton’s bone marrow transplant has been a success so far. Mickey’s already showing signs of improvement, so Sarah has true hope for the first time in a while.
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) is also thrilled, but neither “Mom” nor “Dad” know about the baby swap. Of course, all baby switches have to be exposed eventually – and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) so close to making it happen. Sarah will inch even closer in the week ahead, so this phase of the storyline seems to be winding down.
Days viewers are ready to see the aftermath, but it’s going to be brutal for Sarah. There are so many layers to this whole awful saga. For starters, Sarah will have to deal with the fact that Mickey – the child she’s connected with as her own daughter – isn’t hers to keep.
Mickey may not be Sarah’s flesh and blood, but Sarah feels like she is. Can you imagine how tough it’ll be for Sarah to give Mickey up?
Next, Sarah will have to grieve for the baby she lost on that terrible night, which will be another excruciating task. Plus, Sarah’s own mother, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), caused the accident. Maggie’s the reason Sarah’s biological daughter is dead, so it’ll be a lot for Sarah to wrap her head around.
There’s also the matter of Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) lying to Sarah and setting her up for all this sorrow. It took a long time for Sarah to realize and admit she loves Xander, but she indeed loves him.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah will inevitably blast Xander after heartbreak hits. She’ll probably tell Xander they’re done for good, but we highly doubt that’ll be the case.
Plenty of DOOL viewers are still rooting for Sarah and Xander. It’s clear that Xander’s crazy about Sarah and never had any intention of hurting her. Xander’s goal all along has been sparing Sarah and Maggie pain. There’s certainly hope for “Xarah’s” future – and there might be a way to help speed the process along.
Could Sarah learn she’s pregnant soon after the baby swap’s exposed? It might be nice to have a little light at the end of this dark tunnel. The news of a bun in the oven could bring Xander and Sarah back together.
Then again, Days of Our Lives might hold off on that until after a long journey to a reunion. It could be a satisfying step that Sarah and Xander take down the road.
Regardless, Sarah and Xander have been so sweet with little Mickey! They can’t keep her, but they can still build a family of their own one day. If Sarah gets pregnant by Xander at some point, it’d serve as a happy ending – at least until the next round of drama strikes.
