General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the ABC soap is set to resume new episodes starting Monday, August 3. GH fans are looking forward to the return of all the Port Charles excitement, so let’s consider some surprises that are coming up. Three mysteries will be solved during the week of August 3-7, so here are some important questions that’ll be answered.
1) Does Nelle get custody?
GH has intentionally kept things vague as far as General Hospital spoilers go, but it doesn’t look like Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) testimony will help Nelle. Nina seems poised to hurt Nelle’s chances in court, but does that mean Nelle will lose entirely?
The judge may still end up granting joint custody to Nelle and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Nelle will explode at Nina either way, but we do know Nelle will fight to see Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) in the aftermath. That could mean that Nelle will be granted joint custody and will plan to take advantage of her rights soon after the ruling.
Then again, Nelle may simply get herself so worked up that she ignores what the judge said – at least at first. That still leaves the door open for Michael to get full custody, but joint custody would certainly bring more drama.
It’d force Nelle, Michael and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) to keep dealing with one another indefinitely.
2) Who is Alexis’ mysterious visitor?
Someone mysterious will show up to see Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in the week ahead, but who’s it going to be? General Hospital spoilers refer to this person as an old friend, so it’ll be interesting to see who Alexis opens her door to.
GH might consider someone like Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) an old friend, but there’s also a chance Alexis will get a genuine blast from the past. This could be someone fans haven’t seen in a while or perhaps just someone Alexis has neglected to catch up with lately.
Regardless, General Hospital has turned this into a bit of a mystery, so let’s hope there’s a good reason why!
3) How does Peter’s plan take a hit?
Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) plan is obviously going to take a hit since Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will rush to his defense next week. The question is: why? Peter’s been able to cover his tracks pretty well lately, but it sounds like there’ll be something that trips him up.
Perhaps Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will uncover a troubling new clue and leave Anna on the defensive. Robert’s search for answers about Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) could link to Peter in some surprising ways. Anything that brings us closer to Peter’s inevitable downfall should be a good thing!
