General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will be back in action once 2021 gets underway. There’s no word on an exact comeback airdate just yet, but Brook Lynn is included in preview info for the new year. Let’s talk about what’ll be in store for Brook Lynn as Setton reclaims the role following her maternity leave.
When GH fans last saw Brook Lynn, she pulled out a pregnancy test after her chat with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). GH fans know Brook Lynn had a hot night with Valentin – followed by another sizzling hookup the next morning.
Brook Lynn was apparently worried she might have Valentin’s bun in the oven since she needed a pregnancy test.
Of course, Brook Lynn also made the decision to leave town. She needed time and space to mull over what’s next in her life, so that was another huge tipoff to the pregnancy storyline that’s brewing.
New General Hospital spoilers basically confirm Brook Lynn’s pregnancy. According to the GH preview info for 2021, the story of Brook Lynn’s pregnancy test will continue to develop.
There’d be no need to develop anything at all if Brook Lynn’s test was negative. Brook Lynn would simply toss it and be grateful it was a false alarm. The fact that General Hospital’s following up on the pregnancy test somehow means Brook Lynn is indeed pregnant.
That also means Brook Lynn will either return home visibly expecting a baby or wait until that baby is born.
Here’s where things should get interesting. Will Brook Lynn take the honest approach and show up on Valentin’s door with his kid – perhaps right as he gets his long-awaited Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) reunion?
That’s a possibility to consider, but there are certainly other options for this hot plot.
Brook Lynn might claim the father was someone else. She could get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in on a paternity cover-up or perhaps find some other guy who’s willing to pose as the “baby daddy.”
Naturally, Valentin might be suspicious anyway due to the timing of all this. He might demand a DNA test and leave Brook Lynn to decide if she’ll find a way to manipulate the results.
A third story option might be if Brook Lynn actually hooked up with Chase or someone else off screen. Nobody knows for sure what went on behind closed doors! General Hospital has been known to do some rewrites, so we’ll include the possibility that Valentin isn’t the father after all.
