General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will put Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) in a tight spot once again. Jordan’s been struggling ever since Cyrus forced her to become his inside source and secret helper at the PCPD. However, Cyrus never lets Jordan forget what’s at stake.
Jordan’s family could be at risk if she doesn’t do what she’s told, so that’s always in the back of her mind. General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will force Jordan to make another shady move – and obeying could put another Port Charles resident at risk.
Let’s set the stage for Cyrus’ new demand and which characters it’ll affect.
For starters, October 6 will bring some bold action for Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). That’s when Lulu will begin working on a story that details Cyrus’ corruption and devious behavior.
Lulu will hope to collapse the empire Cyrus is building – presumably with the help of a major reporter since she’s been talking about bringing one in and getting mainstream media attention.
Naturally, Cyrus is bound to catch on fast! He’s got his eye on Lulu since she’s the daughter of Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis). Cyrus will undoubtedly know a storm’s brewing, so he’ll want to make a preemptive strike. There’s a good chance Cyrus will try to hit Lulu where it hurts and kill this story.
That brings us to what the return of a familiar face on October 8 – just two days after Lulu’s work on this story starts. GH spoilers say Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be floored by an unexpected return, and we know Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zampogna) on his way home right now.
Cyrus will inevitably be monitoring the situation and know when Dante – Sonny’s son and Lulu’s ex-husband – comes back to town. Is that why Cyrus will push Jordan to hand over a case file on October 9, the day after Dante returns?
Based on all the evidence here, Cyrus may think it’s time to dig into Dante’s background. There’s surely a case file on Dante at the PCPD, where he used to be employed. Cyrus may use that as a starting point, but there’s probably someone at the WSB he can bribe or threaten, too.
Regardless, the goal may be for Cyrus to use Dante as a weapon against Sonny and Lulu. Dante’s coming home with Peter August (Wes Ramsey) as his secret target, but Dante could become Cyrus’ new target as well. By returning to Port Charles, Dante may be putting himself in extreme danger!
