General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Goes Dark After Lulu’s Death - Joins Sonny Corinthos Mob Family To Take Out Cyrus?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) could have some difficult days ahead. As GH viewers know, Dante was right outside the Floating Rib when the place exploded thanks to the bomb that Julian Jerome (William deVry) planted there.

Well, now the race will be on to find and save those who were inside at the time of the blast, and as viewers are painfully aware, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was among those inside the bar when it exploded.

Sadly, GH buzz is that Lulu may very well not survive the injuries she sustains in the blast. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Dante will work together to try to rescue Lulu, so it looks like she’ll be in very bad shape in the aftermath of the blast.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that viewers need to brace for a possible Lulu death.

Well, assuming that Lulu does perish as a result of the explosion, that’s probably going to leave Dante in a very dark place. As viewers know, Dante was on his way to the Floating Rib to see Lulu and tell her that he still loved her and wanted her back.

If Lulu dies before Dante can say these words to Lulu, it’s impossible to imagine the weight that Dante will feel.

And considering that Dante will have to tell Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan) that his mother is gone forever, it’s pretty easy to see how Dante’s going to be a complete mess.

Dante was already psychologically vulnerable from Dr. Kirk’s (Christopher Cousins) manipulation and his so-called treatment at the WSB, and with Lulu’s death added to that, it’s liable to push Dante over the edge.

Of course, at some point after the blast, it should become apparent to the key players in Port Charles that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was behind the deliberate attack on the Floating Rib.

It probably won’t take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) long to realize that Jason was the intended target and that Cyrus’ people were being the blast.

Dante will surely want answers about what happened and why…and who was responsible for Lulu’s passing, assuming that Lulu dies as a result of her injuries. Something tells us that Dante will quickly learn from Sonny about Cyrus likely being behind the blast.

Might Dante want to join his father in getting revenge on Cyrus? Dante’s never shown an interest in the Sonny Corinthos Family mob business before, but Lulu’s death could push Dante over the edge.

In fact, Dante might figure that he needs to know what’s going on with Cyrus’ business and dealings, and that Sonny and Jason are really the only path to getting the real story. We could even see Dante want to join Sonny’s organization and help take Cyrus out from the inside.

That could lead Dante to quickly abandon his mission to take down Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and start working on the other side of the law.

We’ll see what happens here, but there could be some interesting drama if Dante goes dark in response to Lulu’s death. One thing’s for sure – Dante’s going to want justice for his ex-wife and the mother of his son, and something tells me that he’ll get it one way or another.
