General Hospital Spoilers: Exclusive Wiley Custody War Preview – 6 Courtroom Shockers Before GH Runs Out of New Episodes

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the custody battle for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) will finally get underway. This is GH’s hottest storyline right now, so many fans are eager to find out what’s ahead. We’ve got an exclusive preview of the action, so let’s look at a breakdown of the Wiley war to come. Here are six courtroom shockers to expect before GH runs out of new episodes.

1. Nelle and Julian Got Hitched

GH pretty much spelled out that this was going to happen, so it’s no surprise that Nelle married Julian Jerome (William deVry). Nelle will continue to bring courtroom chaos when she reveals Julian is her new husband and shares the bogus story of how they came together. Julian will obviously be furious about being forced into this union he hates, but that’s the price you pay for keeping secrets!

2. Carly Blindsided on the Stand

Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has a few tricks up his sleeve, but he won’t even have to work too hard to pull this one off. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will be blindsided by Martin’s accusations in court. The problem is that Carly’s done some horrible things herself and won’t look much better than Nelle in court. Carly’s bound to seem like an out-of-control grandma who wants to rob Nelle of her son.

3. Michael’s Sterling Reputation Tarnished

Of course, Carly won’t be the only one Martin accuses of some shady activities. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is counting on Michael to look like a rock-star dad, but his sterling reputation will be tarnished thanks to everything Martin dredges up. Martin may even find a couple ways to drag Willow “Snow White” Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) down with her new hubby!

4. Nina’s Moment of Truth

While this custody battle’s going on, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will face her own inner battle. Part of Nina wants to believe Nelle’s capable of loving and caring for Wiley. Another part of Nina feels like she should do what she promised and serve as Michael’s secret weapon.

Nina will face two significant choices in the coming episodes. The first is whether she’ll take the stand at all! Nina could always decide to sit this one out and let the chips fall where they may. However, that’s not going to happen since General Hospital spoilers say Nina will play a crucial role in the outcome.

Nina will indeed choose to take the stand, but that brings us to her next big decision. GH fans can expect Nina to wrestle with which side to be on. Will Nina try to help Michael?

Will Nina take the risk and insist Nelle deserves custody rights instead? It won’t be an easy call, but the path Nina picks could be one of the deciding factors in this case.

5. Nelle’s Emotional Plea

Nelle will give an emotional plea before this trial wraps up and hope her performance pays off. There might be a tiny bit of it that’s genuine, but it’ll just be Nelle’s usual manipulation for the most part. General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will cry her eyes out and hope she can move the judge in some way.

6. Major Custody Cliffhanger

Naturally, there’s a good chance this is building to a major custody cliffhanger. Nelle will give her brilliant, weepy performance on May 21, which is the last episode filmed before the forced COVID-19 hiatus. To give GH fans something to look forward to down the road, it seems likely General Hospital will leave us hanging on who actually wins this battle.

Joint custody seems like the most reasonable outcome under the circumstances, but that may not be revealed until GH eventually returns with all-new episodes.
