General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 10, tease that the ABC soap will cap off the week with another great classic. This GH episode originally aired on July 25, 2016 – and it’s got plenty of action! General Hospital fans may want do a rewatch, so here’s what you can look forward to.
For starters, Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) gets freaked out over a skeleton in the catacombs. It’s wearing a bracelet and earring similar to ones Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) wore, but Lulu tries to believe it might be a setup. Lulu ends up knocking out a guard who approaches. She decides a good Spencer should improvise, so she snatches up the gun and prepares for a heroic moment.
Meanwhile, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and all his men have guns on Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). After Valentin fires a shot, Kevin dives to take the bullet. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) rushes to attack Valentin, but he has to let him go due to a guard that’s crept up behind him.
Valentin complains about Kevin getting wounded when it was meant to be a warning shot. Now Valentin thinks he’ll have to kill his hostages, but armed Lulu appears and aims at Valentin.
At GH, Naomi Drefus (Robin Riker) is battling panic attacks and seems uncomfortable around Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). Naomi also hyperventilates at the mention of Heather Webber (Robin Mattson).
Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) isn’t interested in accepting anything from Heather, so she makes it clear she won’t be taking the money Franco offered from her. Liz does, however, assure Franco that they’re on for a date. Franco eventually pays Heather a visit to explain Liz’s money rejection. He also gets assurance that Heather won’t try to harm Liz in any way.
A little later, Naomi shows up as Heather’s next visitor. She warns that Heather will keep her mouth shut unless she wants to add to her own misery. Back at GH, Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) gets Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) to admit that he found a new drug source. Finn feels like Hayden’s stalking him somewhat and doesn’t get why she’d want to help a “junkie.”
Hayden’s concerned for Finn, but he warns that the drug’s a temporary solution. Finn doesn’t want Hayden to hang around just to watch him die, but Hayden feels like she’s doing something selfless for once. She wants to be there for Finn and refuses to let him go through this alone.
Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is taken aback when he spots Kristina Corithos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) kissing an older woman outside the hotel room.
Once Kristina’s alone, she’s confronted by Sonny and spills the truth about Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones). Sonny struggles to wrap his head around Kristina keeping this a secret from him, but Kristina contends that she was scared. She didn’t know how Sonny would react.
Sonny offers a reminder that he loves his daughter no matter what, but Kristina is feeling confused and overwhelmed. She doesn’t know what her sexuality is, but she’s curious if Sonny could deal with having a gay daughter.
