General Hospital Spoilers: Week of July 13 – Chase’s Shower Steaminess – Nina’s Big Nelle Decision – Countdown to Cyrus Destruction

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 13-17 tease that the show will shift gears and halt the theme weeks they’ve been doing. Instead, GH will re-air episodes from May 2020. Since General Hospital’s hoping to resume production in mid-July, the idea here is to refresh fans’ memories and provide a seamless transition to new episodes if possible.

Of course, plans could change if their restart date gets delayed or they can’t get new episodes on screen before these recent ones run out again. However, it feels like it’s been forever since May sweeps drama played out, so it’ll be nice to revisit all the mayhem. Here’s what you can expect in the week ahead.

On Monday, General Hospital will re-air an episode that was first seen on May 6, 2020. This one features Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) confessing she’s only two weeks sober, which stuns Kristina Corithos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos). Alexis also finds out she’s been disbarred, so she realizes her life’s about to change drastically.

Over with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), she’s hopeful that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will testify for her in the looming custody case. Nelle insists she needs someone like Nina to give her a second chance, but Nina struggles with the idea – especially since little Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) is at the center of all this.

Meanwhile, drunk Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) goes off on Peter August (Wes Ramsey) at The Floating Rib. Robert wants to know why Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) had to die while a “dirt bag” like Peter gets to live.

On Tuesday, GH is moving with ahead with the episode that originally aired on May 7, 2020. Following Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) punch at the boxing gym, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) gets some help from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). As Sasha deals with a bloody nose, she urges Michael to stop being so nice to her.

Next, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) taunts Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis), which leaves them unsettled. Later, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) assures Carly that Cyrus will be handled sooner than his enemy thinks.

Wednesday brings an encore that was first shown on May 11, 2020. In this episode, Nelle goads Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about his breakup with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Nelle suggests maybe she’ll still get together with Chase and makes it clear that she always gets what she wants. Chase thinks Nelle’s delusional and leaves in a huff.

Afterward, Nelle listens in on Brook Lynn’s conversation with Julian Jerome (William deVry) and scores major blackmail material. Across town, Willow decides she’ll marry Michael and accepts his proposal. Michael and Willow are in agreement when it comes to giving Wiley a loving two-parent home.

On Thursday, GH will take us back to the episode that originally aired on May 12, 2020. This one features Willow as a beautiful bride and Michael as a handsome groom. In the Quartermaine mansion living room, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) pronounces them husband and wife. Michael seals the union by kissing Willow, who looks like a deer in headlights.

As for Chase and Sasha, they commiserate while drinking down on the pier. Back with Nelle, she realizes Michael’s marrying Willow and realizes she needs to up the ante. It isn’t long until Nelle approaches Julian and argues that he’ll want to hear what she has to say.

Friday’s GH episode was first seen on May 13, 2020 – and it brings a surprising apology from Ava Cassadine (Maura West). Ava’s sorry about threatening kidnapping charges that time confused Mike Corbin (Max Gail) took Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Sonny’s appreciative of Ava’s remorse.

Once Ava’s gone, Sonny wrestles over Mike’s feeding tube situation. He’s not sure he’s ready to let Mike go and doesn’t know what Mike would want. Sonny’s facing an impossible decision and it’s really got him choked up.

At the Quartermaine mansion again, Willow awakens and seems overwhelmed to be Michael’s new wife. Chase awakens in his apartment after a steamy shower dream, which features Willow choosing him over Michael. Willow eventually visits the PCPC to inform Chase that she married Michael – and Carly appears moments later.
