General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could be forced to spend more time apart. GH fans know Jason has expressed concern about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) going after his family before.
ack when Sam’s parole was still a factor, Jason warned that Cyrus was a factor, too. It was all part of why Jason and Sam couldn’t be together.
Once Sam made a deal with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), that took care of her parole situation. However, General Hospital pretty much ignored the Cyrus danger after that. Cyrus’ threat has never really gone away – as Jason and Sam are about to learn through this disaster at The Floating Rib.
No matter the outcome for Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo), just knowing Danny was so close to deadly peril is going to be an issue. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) foreshadowed when she argued that Jason and his career path created far more of a risk to her grandkids.
Alexis felt like Jason was the dangerous person in Danny and Scout Cain’s (Ella Ramacieri) lives, not her.
Sam may see just how true that is after The Floating Rib blows up. Although Jason was the intended target, it’s clear that Cyrus’ reach can include the kids – whether it’s intentionally or unintentionally. Jason’s going to be OK and hopefully Danny should survive as well, but there’s no denying that this is a close call.
How will Sam react in the aftermath? What about Jason? It seems like Jason and Sam may have to reevaluate what’s best for their family. Jason could easily make the decision to stay away from Sam, Danny and Scout until Cyrus is brought down.
Of course, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will no doubt want to make sure that happens as soon as possible. It shouldn’t take Sonny long to realize Cyrus was targeting Jason to make it easier to get to his boss. Sonny and Cyrus’ truce will go right out the window, so this war’s bound to heat up in a big way.
With any luck, maybe that means the potential “JaSam” family separation will be over quickly. As other GH news comes in, we’ll bring you updates. General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are brewing in Port Charles, so stick with us.
