General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) may end up regretting that fierce outburst of hers. In the episode airing May 5, Kristina lashed out at Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and offered up some harsh words about her sister’s relationship. Kristina totally trashed Sam and Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) romance, which left some fans delighted and others furious.
To be fair, it wasn’t cool for Sam to act like all the Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) chaos was Kristina’s fault. Let’s not forget that Shiloh’s father was Sam’s mark many years ago – and David Henry Archer aka “Hank” was bitter about the gold digger.
Plus, Shiloh was connected to Drew Cain (Billy Miller), and the villain eventually pulled Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) into his web.
In other words, Kristina perhaps deserves some of the blame, but it’s not like she was the one and only person Shiloh was tied to. If Kristina hadn’t joined Dawn of Day, Sam still probably would’ve gotten caught up in the Shiloh mess one way or another. Shiloh had his hands in plenty of pots.
Nevertheless, Kristina was wrong to drag Sam and Jason through the mud after the way they came to her rescue. They fought hard to get Kristina out of Shiloh’s dangerous cult.
Kristina may be right about Jason and Sam being “danger junkies” who are addicted to drama, but that doesn’t mean she should say it! Some things are better left unsaid, especially when it comes to siblings and their love lives.
Even so, this gave the Davis girls some fantastic material to play. Many General Hospital fans were loving the fire Lexi Ainsworth and Kelly Monaco brought to the table! It was nice to see these GH stars have a chance to show off their impressive acting skills.
Of course, this confrontation could come back to haunt Kristina down the road. Will Jason and Sam the “danger junkies” have to save Kristina once again? Kristina may be glad they thrive in times of peril if more hits. That could easily happen thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the threat he poses to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family.
Kristina pointed out that Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) were Jason’s priority, so that may tie in here, too. Will Sonny’s enemy target Kristina? It’d be reasonable since Cyrus and Sonny are still plotting against each other.
Cyrus has already gone after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), which led to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) getting caught in the mayhem. Carly nearly lost her life that day as well. Even Mike Corbin (Max Gail) was stuck in the madness, so there’s no reason to think Kristina will be safe.
Will Sam and Jason have to rescue Kristina in the end? Kristina may be forced to admit that Jason and Sam take on these heroic missions out of love. Kristina may be sorry she ever trashed “JaSam” once this Cyrus nightmare sparks more trouble. As other GH news comes in, we’ll give you updates.
