General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some fierce family drama is going on within the Grey family, so let’s talk about where this might lead. GH fans know Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) holds Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) responsible for the death of their father, Gordon Grey.
Cyrus got riled up over the persistent accusation and insisted he never meant to kill Gordon at all.
According to Cyrus, it was a true accident when he mowed Gordon down with his car. It all happened so fast, and things were chaotic. Cyrus claims he just wanted to get out of there, but Martin pointed out that “Mama” never believed him.
Martin certainly doesn’t buy that Cyrus – who hated his dad – hit the accelerator by mistake that day.
It’s clear that Martin adores his mother, Florence Grey, which is why he was willing to reach out to the brother he hates. Getting the money for Florence’s medical care is what was most important.
However, General Hospital spoilers say it’s Martin’s love for his mother that might make him dangerous. We’re seeing a different side of Martin now – one that might be capable of trying to make Cyrus pay.
Could Martin eventually decide enough is enough? Based on this intense, angry version of Martin that’s on screen now, it wouldn’t be surprising if he ultimately plotted Cyrus’ murder. It could be an attempt to avenge Gordon’s death and maybe even Florence’s death, too.
After all, Florence is in poor health. If Cyrus causes too much stress, Florence may not survive much longer. Martin will have no use for Cyrus if Florence dies. Cyrus’ money won’t be needed anymore – and Martin may have another reason to blame Cyrus.
From Martin’s perspective, he might hold Cyrus at fault for the death of both parents. Martin could let his vengeful rage take over, especially if Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and others in Port Charles land in more danger in the months ahead.
Perhaps Martin could take it upon himself to rid the world of his brother once and for all! Cyrus doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, but that may not stop Martin from trying to take him out. It’ll be interesting to see just had ugly this family feud gets.
