General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, April 20 Update – Valentin’s Charlotte Heartbreak – Sonny’s Terrible News – Michael’s Wiley Terror

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, April 20, teases that Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will get busted. GH fans know Charlotte came up with a strategy to shake things up at Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) birthday party. Charlotte wanted her snake to drop out of the pinata, but it wound up in Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) bag instead.

Of course, Ava promptly let her purse fall to the floor, which allowed the snake to start slithering in the partygoers’ direction. Charlotte’s still getting the same outcome she wanted, so she looked pretty pleased with herself. Unfortunately, Charlotte’s parents won’t be pleased when they put all this together!

Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will definitely give her daughter an earful, but she’ll mostly blame Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for teaching Charlotte to be so sneaky.

Although Lulu may want to ban Valentin from Charlotte’s life entirely, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will take a softer approach. She’ll contend that Valentin wants the same things they all do – including what’s best for his kid.

Laura may suggest that if Lulu keeps the focus on Charlotte and not her feud with Valentin, maybe he’ll see the light. It turns out Lulu won’t even have to do anything. Charlotte’s actions will pretty much speak for themselves, but Valentin will also gain a better understanding during his next chat with “ma petite.”

When Charlotte basically acts like this is just how their family operates, Valentin will see that he’s been leading his daughter down the wrong path. It’ll prompt some soul-searching and the heartbreaking realization that Lulu might be right. Perhaps a custody battle is the wrong call since Charlotte’s picking up too many of Valentin’s bad habits.

At some point on Monday, Valentin will cross paths with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Their run-in will bring a fierce warning regarding Nik and his interactions with Charlotte. Valentin will tell Nikolas to stay away from his daughter – and most likely threaten to blow up Nik’s world if he doesn’t obey orders.

GH fans know Valentin doesn’t mess around when it comes to Charlotte. Keeping Charlotte safe and happy is Valentin’s priority. Since Valentin will start to believe Charlotte shouldn’t be around him quite so much, he certainly won’t want Charlotte around the dark prince either!

Other General Hospital spoilers say Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will continue to strategize. They’ve been mulling over Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) request for a meeting and exactly how this might play out. Sonny and Jason have to be prepared for anything when Cyrus is involved, so they’ll try to nail down what Cyrus’ next move will be.

However, Sonny will get some terrible news from Turning Woods soon. This Sonny and Cyrus meeting won’t happen – at least not yet. That’s because Sonny will have to dash off to see Mike Corbin (Max Gail), who’s suffered a seizure and is inching closer to his inevitable death.

In the meantime, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will wonder if spoke too soon about something. Peter will worry that he’s put his foot in his mouth, but he should be able to smooth things over. That’s what Peter does best! Peter always knows how to manipulate the situation and make it seem like it’s all good.

Thankfully, there are a handful of Port Charles residents who aren’t buying Peter’s act. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is among them and that’s why he’s at “Paxie’s” apartment looking for dirt.

Someone else just arrived at Peter and Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place with the same agenda. It turns out it’s Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who would also love to score proof against Peter.

General Hospital spoilers say Robert and Spinelli will discuss how convinced they are of Peter’s guilt. They might snoop through the apartment together, but will they find anything useful?

Regardless, you can bet that Spinelli and Robert won’t give up! They can’t let Peter get away with his crimes and keep putting innocent people at risk.

Over with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), he’ll fret about potentially losing custody of Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) to Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier). That’d be Michael’s worst nightmare, but he’s trying to believe his chances of winning are still decent.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will note that Michael would have a better shot if he married Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Although Michael knows that, he just won’t be convinced that’s the right call. Willow loves Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), so Michael hates the idea of derailing their relationship.

All Michael would have to do is tell Willow this is the only way to secure custody. Willow would marry Michael if he’d make that declaration. Since Michael isn’t willing to take things that far, Chase is trying to help him out. The determined detective will keep up his efforts on Monday, but Willow will insist this marriage just isn’t necessary.

General Hospital spoilers Chase will push Willow to really think this through. Although Chase adores Willow, he won’t believe she can live with the wrong outcome at the hearing.

Since Willow and Michael will refuse to listen, Chase and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will come up with a desperate plan to make sure this wedding happens.

As other GH details emerge, we’ll pass along more updates. It sounds like this “Millow” marriage will shake things up in a big way, so stay tuned. CDL’s your hotspot for great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news posts.
