General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 6, tease that fans will see the aftermath of Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) grand entrance! Before Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) had a chance to make her final marriage vow decision, Nik burst through the doors carrying a soaked Ava Jerome (Maura West) in his arms. The guests were understandably shocked to see “dead” Nikolas standing right there in Wyndemere.
On Monday, Nikolas will inform Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that it’s all over. Valentin’s days of winning are finished as far as Nik’s concerned. Monday’s preview video shows Nikolas snarling, “YOU…LOSE…EVERYTHING…”
Valentin will be stunned to learn that not only is Nikolas alive and well, he’s in possession of the codicil thanks to a deal with Ava.
Nik’s loved ones will be in shock for quite some time. Poor Laura Webber’s (Genie Francis) lip started quivering as soon as she laid eyes on her son again. As relieved as Laura is to find out Nikolas survived, she’ll be hurt that he stayed away for so long. The same goes for Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan), who’ll angrily accuse someone of being behind all this.
That someone may be Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) since GH seems to be revving up their feud. It could be important if Lulu ends up with sole custody of Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) down the road.
Lulu may eventually have the power to cut Nina out of Charlotte’s life, so this could bring an opportunity to create loads of conflict beforehand.
Charlotte was already fearful that this wedding would be derailed, and she was right. Lulu won’t appreciate the fact that Nina was in on Ava’s scheme, which involved Nikolas.
As for Valentin, he’ll be gutted when Nina shows no real sense of surprise at Nik’s appearance. It won’t take Valentin long to realize Nina has been plotting revenge, so he’ll be doubly devasted over losing his fortune and his love.
Nina will look Valentin in the eyes and admit she knew it was him all along. She never bought Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) tale about acting alone, so she’s been playing Valentin. The news will catch Valentin off guard and leave him with no hope for their future together.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will take Peter August (Wes Ramsey) aside and ponder this madness. She’ll be curious about where Nikolas has been all this time – as will the rest of the guests buzzing about. Peter will ultimately take a punch in the gut from Valentin, so he’ll obviously get on his bad side somehow.
Of course, Valentin may really be taking his anger out on Peter. It’ll be a lot for Valentin to deal with since his whole world will be falling apart.
Across town, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will lash out at Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). He may realize Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is growing closer to Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) – and it’s all because Trina filled Joss in on Dev’s crush.
Cam will ask why Trina couldn’t have just stayed out of it. Trina should realize that Cameron’s crushing hard as well, so this will lead to a pact of some sort. Perhaps Trina and Cam will promise to stay out of each other’s love lives. Meddling in matters of the heart isn’t usually a good idea, especially when angsty teens are part of the equation!
Then again, Cameron and Trina might settle this dispute and shift gears. They may jokingly make a pact to date each other if no one proves interested in a specified amount of time. Regardless, Josslyn will make a bold move during a close moment with Dev. He’ll insist this year’s going to be a lot better for Joss, so she’ll ultimately lean in for a kiss and hope to start right now.
Unfortunately, General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn will be upset soon after. She’ll face a letdown, so Dev might fight his feelings and insist he just wants to be friends. Whatever the case, Josslyn won’t start her new year off on a positive note after all.
