General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) has finally pushed Julian Jerome (William deVry) too far – and now her life is at stake! Julian thought back to Ava Jerome (Maura West), who wondered what Julian was thinking and why he hadn’t killed Nelle yet. Many GH fans have been curious about that, too!
Julian’s finally taking charge and has turned his gun on Nelle, but will he really pull the trigger? Here’s what we know so far. For starters, Nelle definitely isn’t going to die. Regardless of any shots that might be fired, Nelle will survive this encounter on the pier.
General Hospital spoilers confirm that Nelle’s kidnapping plot is building to an explosive confrontation with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) – perhaps their worst one yet!
It’ll be a major climax for this storyline and will have a ripple effect on Port Charles, which implies that other PC residents and stories will be affected.
What does all that mean for Nelle following this dangerous showdown with Julian? It’s possible Nelle will convince Julian to let her go. Nelle might argue that if he just lets her make a clean getaway with Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), Julian’s problems will be over.
Nelle may even argue that the Corinthos clan’s problems will be over as well.
At this point, Nelle just wants to take her son and disappear. She may think that’s a fair trade for staying out of all their lives forever. Nelle could also bring up the sealed envelope she left at Martin Gray’s (Michael E. Knight) office, which will sink Julian if she suffers a grim fate.
It’s doubtful that Martin would stick to any agreement he made with Nelle since she dumped him as her attorney and doesn’t play to fork over a check. Even so, Nelle will be spinning this any way she can to save her own life. It seems Nelle’s plan will work since Carly’s going to have a confrontation with her later.
There are two reasons that Carly might confront Nelle. That could mean Nelle will still snatch the Wiley – either because Julian lets her or because she manages to make a break for it. Nevertheless, it’s also possible Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) henchman will intervene and steal Wiley.
GH viewers know Wiley’s been left alone in Julian’s vehicle, so there’s no guarantee he’ll still be there when Julian or Nelle approach his car seat.
Carly might figure out Nelle has that tracker and be forced to work with her to save Wiley from Cyrus. Of course, it’s just as possible that Carly will simply corner kidnapper Nelle to thwart her own plot.
Regardless, this ripple effect on Port Charles sounds intriguing. It’s possible Carly will spot Nelle’s half-heart pendant and put it together that she’s Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter.
Nelle had that necklace on when she was just a little girl in Carly’s flashbacks. Nina also made a big show about letting Carly see her own necklace half. It seemed like a setup for Carly to figure all this out.
One thing’s for sure: Nelle will make it out of this tight spot with Julian alive and will continue to drive the drama in Port Charles. As other GH news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
