General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may think he’s won, but he should think again! Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is on the verge of losing everything, but he’s not going down without a fight. It’s true that Valentin deserves a major downfall, but so does Nikolas.
This isn’t a battle of good and evil. Nikolas has been showing off his dark side more than ever since he returned. Valentin is arguably worse, but that doesn’t mean Nik should get a pass for his actions.
GH fans know Laura Webber (Genie Francis) was certainly furious with Nik. She couldn’t believe that Nikolas prioritized revenge over his own son.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) is bound to go through a lot of the same emotions upon his eventual return. He’ll be relieved that his father is still alive, but Nikolas’ decision to stay away will surely cause some problems. There may be some emotional distance thanks to Nikolas keeping quiet about his survival.
There’s also the matter of Nikolas driving Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) out of town. Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) lost her mom because of Nikolas. You can be sure Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will want Nik to pay for that! Nikolas’ backlash is definitely going to get worse before it gets better.
Of course, General Hospital viewers know Nik is a fugitive, so legal consequences could be an issue. As far as the codicil and reclaiming the Cassadine estate goes, this storyline is far from over! Who’s to say that codicil is for sure legit?
Maybe Nikolas’ win over Valentin is only temporary. Legit or not, there’s also a chance Valentin could still get his hands on that codicil somehow. If nothing else, Valentin could go off the rails and decide it’s time to finish Nik off like he intended.
If Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) isn’t Valentin’s daughter as GH has heavily hinted, Valentin may soon have nothing to lose – and that could make him one of the most dangerous men in Port Charles.
When you throw in Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) jealousy over Nik and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) marriage, Nikolas could be facing a scary downfall of his own. It may take ruin before Nik can rise and be the stronger Cassadine that he desires to be.
Bottom line, General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas’ victory isn’t quite a victory just yet and will come with plenty of complications. We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in.
