General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one former soap star recently shared what he’s up to during the COVID-19 aka coronavirus crisis. Many GH viewers still miss Tyler Christopher, who played the role of Nikolas Cassadine until 2016. Christopher also played Stefan DiMera on Days of Our Lives until Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny Zacchara) took over in 2019.
Christopher may be out of the soap world now, but he’s certainly not forgotten by GH and Days fans. Luckily, social media provides a great way to keep up with Christopher and other soap alums. On Instagram, Christopher opened up about paying a visit to his mother’s grave. He was able to remember a loved one without worry during this time of social distancing.
Christopher posted a picture of himself knelt down by the headstone. “The ONE place I don’t have to give a damn about social distance from Corona or work,” Tyler said. “My mothers burial site and the home I grew up in the background. And yes…I grew up in a cemetery. #coronavirus #jimiannbaker #heal”
In the comments, many of Christopher’s fans acknowledged that the healing never stops when you lose someone close to you. Grieving can be a never-ending process, but it often helps to reflect on those we miss and remember them like Christopher’s doing. It’s good that Christophe’s keeping his mom’s memory alive in his heart.
“Sending love & light your way Tyler,” one fan said. “Take care and stay safe.” Another Instagram user posted, “Losing a parent is one of the hardest things to go through in life.” “I hope it brings you some comfort to visit your mother’s resting place. I also hope you are well. You are missed and loved by many,” said one more fan.
We definitely wish Tyler Christopher the best, and it’s nice to see him check in like this. General Hospital and DOOL viewers are loyal to the stars they once enjoyed onscreen. Christopher is part of the soap family for life, so we’ll look forward to more updates.
