General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, September 10, teases that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will trust his instincts as he heads to Holly Sutton’s (Emma Samms) memorial service with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Despite this big show about a final farewell to Holly, Robert just won’t by that it’s necessary. He’ll know in his heart that Holly has to be alive.
Nevertheless, Robert will sense that Olivia doesn’t believe him. Olivia may feel like wishful thinking is at work here, but she can definitely understand Robert’s perspective.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still pushing Olivia away, but Olivia’s clinging to hope that they’ll be together again one day. She may understand if Robert wants to cling to that hope when it comes to Holly, too.
Fortunately, some news will arrive that will further convince Robert he’s right about Holly’s survival. Even Olivia may get on board after a shocking phone call points Robert down a new path.
There’s no word on what Robert will learn, but he’ll definitely be intrigued. Some hint will come into play that brings unanswered questions, so Robert will set out to answer them.
Ethan Lovett, Holly’s son with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary), will be back on the scene soon, so he should be in contact with Robert at some point. This will be a real team effort, but the payoff should be worth it in the end. All the signs suggest Holly’s alive, so it’s just a matter of cracking the case and finding the proof.
Speaking of cracking case, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will try to help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) crack one in Manhattan. Nina and Jax will visit the artisan that Evelyn the jeweler put them in touch with.
Using the contact info Evelyn provided, Nina will show up as his door wondering if he can identify her necklace. Jax will be there to serve as backup if this artisan gives Nina any trouble.
The artisan’s memory may be fuzzy after all these years, but there’s a good chance Nina and Jax will walk away with some helpful nugget. Nina just has to take things one step at a time if she wants to solve the mystery of who her long-lost child is. GH fans already know it’s Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier), so it’s just a waiting game on when a ton of bombs will drop!
In the meantime, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will discuss their problematic marriages. When Ava contends that maybe they should cut their losses, Franco should be offended.
He blames Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) for causing issues and manipulating Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), so Franco won’t want Ava acting like Liz is on the same level.
Next, Liz will lash out at Nikolas for letting his own messed up sham of a marriage derail her real marriage to Franco. Nikolas may feign innocence, but Elizabeth should want him to straighten up and act like he deserves her friendship. Otherwise, Liz may have to cut ties with Nikolas permanently!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will have updates for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) at Turning Woods. Carly will likely try to get rid of Ned due to Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) decline, but Ned will think it’s urgent that he speak with Sonny.
Olivia’s been pushing to see Dante at his WSB facility, so Ned will think Sonny belongs in the loop as Sonny’s father.
Sonny will indeed meet with Ned on Thursday, so he’ll get brought up to speed and express gratitude for Ned’s info. At least Sonny will know what’s going on! General Hospital spoilers also point to another visitor’s arrival. Sonny will have tears in his eyes as he shares how happy he is to see someone.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is a possibility since she’s got a visit scheduled for Friday that could easily kick off as Thursday’s episode wraps up. However, Sonny seems too emotional for it to just be Joss in Thursday’s preview video.
It appears Sonny may welcome someone more surprising like a vision of Mike in perfect health or even a vision of Dante following his recovery.
We should note that Sonny will imagine scenarios involving his dad and a brighter future in the week ahead. Sonny will imagine an outcome that didn’t include Alzheimer’s and an early death for Mike, so that’ll bring some moments that are tough to watch. As other GH updates come in, we’ll keep you posted.
