General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of January 4-8 tease that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will make a big decision. It looks like Jax will want to take Josslyn Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) to Australia and get her as far away from all the Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) drama as possible.
Of course, GH spoilers point to Josslyn sticking around – and that may be where Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) surprising guidance comes in. Nina will have some advice that leaves Jax taken aback, so she may spell out all the reasons why Josslyn should stay in Port Charles instead.
Nina will understand Jax’s desire to keep Joss safe, but she may feel a drastic move like that isn’t necessary just yet. Speaking of drastic moves, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) made one by having Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) kidnapped.
It seems Cyrus will blow up at Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and feel like she tipped Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) off to Florence’s location.
That’s not exactly true since Laura merely mentioned Florence’s location to Carly and seemingly didn’t know she’d take things this far – especially right away. Nevertheless, Cyrus will head over to see Jason and blame him for the kidnapping chaos. Carly may confess her involvement soon and rile Cyrus up even more.
As for Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), he surely won’t be pleased about Florence being held hostage. This could be why Martin reaches out to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and seeks a big favor.
Valentin will make a crucial vow to Martin in the week ahead, so we’ll see if he can find a way to help his attorney and friend.
Back with Jax, he’ll meet up with Carly and wonder what the scoop is. Jax will want updates on the mob war and should be terrified for Carly once she reveals Cyrus’ mom now a Corinthos captive. Valentin will also reach out to Nina with a plea in the coming week. Will Valentin try to get Nina back again or could this be about something else?
Either way, Nina should have reservations when it comes to getting mixed up with Valentin again. She certainly won’t be taking Valentin back anytime soon, but she might be on board if the plea involves a way to help Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) instead.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will decide enough is enough. There’ll be no more doing Cyrus’ dirty work according to Jordan. You can bet that news won’t go over well with Cyrus, so he could make a bold move in retaliation.
As for Jason, he’ll visit Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and most likely make sure she’s kept in the loop on everything that’s happening with Cyrus. Since it could affect the kids and their safety, it’s important to give Sam a heads-up.
Later, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will blast Sam over something and leave her uneasy. We’ll also see Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) develop the beginning of a beautiful friendship. There’ll be some nice bonding moments for Dante and Sam in the week ahead.
Meanwhile, Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) will get a pep talk from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Although Portia will still be irritated over Taggert’s decision to fake his death and leave his loved ones in the dark, she’ll know Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) needs her dad.
rina was a mess without Taggert in her life, so Portia will insist that Taggert has to find a way to patch things up.
Over with Jason again, he’ll have a secret meeting with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). General Hospital spoilers say Brando and Jason will have a strategy session as the Cyrus danger continues to rev up.
Next, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will need some guidance from Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). As Chase prepares to have dinner with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), he may wonder if Finn has any tips for him.
Finn may push Chase to just be himself since it worked the first time. Chase may also need to be patient with Willow, who’s understandably torn and confused right now.
Elsewhere, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will console Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as he deals with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) going MIA. Michael will probably confide about how heartbreaking it’ll be for his family if Sonny isn’t found and is presumed dead.
While Michael leans on Sasha, Jason will be summoned to the police station. Jordan will meet with Jason before shifting gears and discussing Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) legal troubles with her.
As for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), she’ll make an epic blunder that nearly exposes Alexis and Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) cheating to Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero).
