Prince Harry's Mother-in-Law Moves In - Meghan Markle’s Mom, Doria Ragland, Joins Family In LA Mansion

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a new addition to their household. As you might be aware, Harry, Meghan, and their son Archie have been residing in Los Angeles, where they’re staying in Tyler Perry’s mansion. But it seems that another family member has moved into the mansion with them.

According to the Sun, Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, has moved into the mansion along with Harry, Meghan, and Archie. It is said that Doria is acting as an “unofficial nanny” to Archie and that she’s helping her daughter and son-in-law as they get settled in their new US home.

A source reported that Doria Ragland has her own living quarters, and that although some of Prince Harry’s friends have been jesting him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a “brilliant relationship” with her.

In addition, it seems that Meghan may want her mother there for emotional support as well. Doria is described by the source as Meghan’s “rock.” It’s also reported that Meghan “doesn’t trust many people” at this point outside of her closest family and friends.

Royal watchers might remember that Doria Ragland was present at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, and that she provided a considerable amount of support to her daughter at that time. Doria has also made several trips to England since Harry and Meghan got married.

In fact, there was talk of Doria moving to the UK to be near her daughter before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step down from their Royal duties and move from the UK. Now it seems that Meghan is with her mom after all, albeit in a very different scenario.

The mansion where Harry, Meghan, Archie, and now Doria are living has a separate living quarters, which is presumably where Doria is staying in the house. However, Doria must be enjoying the close time with her daughter and especially with her grandson.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to be looking to purchase the mansion, so it seems they are staying put for the time being. Be sure to keep CDL bookmarked so you don’t miss any of our British royals news and updates.
