The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that two characters will face an uphill battle as they work to get their love lives back on track. B&B fans know Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) screwed up massively when they kissed. Their make-out session was caught on camera and later exposed to their respective partners.
Now Katie Logan (Heather Tom) is understandably worried that she’ll never be able to trust Bill again. There’s no guarantee Brooke will truly be able to make things right with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) either. The new safety protocols at the studio will add an extra hurdle when it comes to “Bridge” and “Batie” reunions.
The Bold and the Beautiful is back in production, but there are tons of rules in place to limit contact between performers. You can’t tell a proper love story without kissing and hitting the sheets, so what will B&B do?
The easiest way to handle this is to have Ridge maintain some emotional distance to go with the physical distance. Ridge may ice Brooke out as he deals with the pain of her betrayal.
Likewise, Katie may give Bill the cold shoulder and leave him wondering if he’ll ever get her back. Bill isn’t giving up yet, but it’s clear that this process is going to take some time. This might lead to Bill giving Katie the space she needs while focusing on business for a while.
As for Ridge, perhaps he could start daydreaming about all the fun he had in Vegas with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards). Shauna will remain a big factor in Ridge’s storyline, so that could be another reason for him to push Brooke away. Ridge may find that he simply can’t get Shauna out of his head.
There’ll be some easy strategies B&B can use to explain the distance in scenes and keep their couples on shaky ground. Most of us just will take anything at this point. The Bold and the Beautiful fans are longing for some new episodes, so whatever the show can do under the circumstances is fine. These are desperate times!
