The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will soon have a new man in her life, so he’ll provide a blank slate. That’s great news since Steffy’s got so much history with other men on canvas – like Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Some of Steffy and Liam’s history is positive, but other parts of it are painful and not something many fans want repeated.
The new actor who’s been cast to work with Wood will be playing a brand-new character, so Steffy can start fresh. If all goes well and they get together, it should be nice to see Steffy in a different pairing. This could break Steffy out of the Spencer rut and open up some exciting new possibilities.
Unfortunately, there’s also a downside to having so many unknowns. This B&B character’s backstory will eventually be revealed, so it could contain some dark or at least troubling secrets. Once Liam realizes Steffy’s interested in someone new, will he do some digging – just to see what this guy’s all about?
Liam might tell himself he’s doing it for Kelly Spencer’s (Colette and Avalon Gray) sake. Perhaps Liam will feel like he needs to look into this new man as a precaution. If Steffy’s bringing somebody else into Kelly’s life or ultimately intends to, it’s easy to imagine Liam using that as justification for his research.
Of course, jealousy would be another huge factor for Liam. Even though Liam’s not with Steffy right now, he may not want her with anybody else. Liam might try to prove this guy isn’t worthy of Steffy by digging for dirt.
The Bold and the Beautiful viewers know Liam’s also protective of his former flame, so that’d be one more reason for Liam to snoop. Liam might even hire a private investigator to look into things if he sees some warning signs.
This sounds like a situation where Liam could go overboard and leave Steffy to defend her new boyfriend, so we’ll see how it goes!
