The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will have a new man in her orbit soon enough. Now that a new actor’s been cast to work mostly with Wood, it seems like there’s serious potential for a new romance. However, it’s tough to imagine Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) staying away for too long!
Liam is with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) now, but he’s always going to care about Steffy. They’re coparents, friends and former flames who share a close bond. Once a new man’s in the picture, Liam’s bound to be curious. It’s highly doubtful Liam’s going to like this guy since there wouldn’t be much drama in that!
Instead, Liam may be suspicious of this new man and his motives. Part of Liam will want to look out for Steffy and make sure she gets a guy who’ll treat her right – which is honestly something Liam’s struggled with! Of course, another part of Liam will be jealous. He may become quite territorial and irritate Steffy in the process.
This is Steffy’s life and she deserves to find someone – just like Liam found his way back to Hope. Steffy’s entitled to seek a new B&B romance, but Liam may continue to butt in. If Steffy’s getting closer to this new guy, that means he’ll eventually be spending time with Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray).
This man could even become Kelly’s stepdad if this romance deepens into a long-term relationship and leads to marriage. Liam may have all that on his mind and do some meddling as a result.
Naturally, this could prove troubling to Hope. She may think Liam needs to mind his own business and let Steffy have her own love life, but it’s never that simple when it comes to Liam and Steffy.
As Hope’s pointed out in the past, Steffy is always going to be a factor in their relationship. That’s something Hope can accept or fight against, but her actions aren’t going to change anything either way. The Bold and the Beautiful fans know Liam will never be able to back off Steffy entirely.
Liam’s jealousy of this new man of Steffy’s could set up major drama if that’s how B&B writers take this. We’ll pass along updates as other B&B news comes in.
