The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Recap: Wednesday, May 13 - Ridge & Steffy Mortified Over Quinn's Shocking Move

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Wednesday, May 13, reveal that viewers saw an encore episode that originally aired on November 11, 2016. In the episode, things were bustling backstage as everyone readied for the Forrester fashion show. Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) chatted with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer) backstage, while Pam Douglas (Alley Mills) and Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) talked with the interns.

Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Maya Forrester (Karla Mosely) appeared on the scene, with Rick noting that Eric Forrester (John McCook) wouldn’t be coming and that Quinn was running the show.

Quinn appeared and tried to rally the troops, but everyone walked off from her. Wyatt told Quinn that it was her first Forrester show as interim CEO and that she was going to do great.

Meanwhile, back at the Forrester mansion, Katie Spencer (Heather Tom) greeted Eric and let him know that her son got into Westside Preparatory. Eric said that he was in need of a viewing partner for the fashion show, which he was watching remotely from his laptop. Katie happily agreed and soon learned that Quinn was running the show.

Back at the fashion show, Quinn lamented to Ivy and Wyatt that she wanted to do something different with the jewelry pass, but that everyone disagreed with her, thinking that it would be distracting and would hurt the flow of the show. “Maybe I shouldn’t be doing this,” Quinn said. Wyatt told his mom to believe in herself.

In the CEO office, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) didn’t want to go to the show, lamenting to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that he’d rather be somewhere else.

Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) arrived, saying it was weird that Quinn wanted her to wear the showstopper. Ridge said that nobody would see his gown today, and that he refused for it to be a footnote to Quinn’s jewelry pass,

Quinn then arrived in the CEO office all excited and rambling with instructions for everyone. Ridge simply said it would be a show to remember. And over in the backstage area, Maya told Rick that Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards) wouldn’t make it, and she lamented about Zende Forrester (Rome Flynn) sleeping with Sasha Thompson (Felisha Cooper)

Backstage, Sasha reeled when Zende told her that Nicole had seen them in bed together, while nearby Wyatt and Ivy told Quinn that they believed in her. Steffy and Ridge walked by and Quinn excitedly said, “Good luck!” Steffy and Ridge gave Quinn solemn looks and walked on by.

The fashion show started, with models taking the runway in gorgeous gowns. Zende and Sasha continued their talk, with Zende telling Sasha that Nicole decided not to go through with the surrogacy.

Sasha wondered if Nicole would ever forgive Zende, but he didn’t know. Sasha wondered where that left the two of them, but Zende didn’t have time to answer since it was time for Sasha to take the stage.

Meanwhile, back at the Forrester mansion, Eric thought the show was wonderful, cohesive, and progressive so far. “Quinn is putting on a really wonderful show,” Eric said as he watched the events unfold.

But backstage, more drama unfolded as Maya confronted Sasha about sleeping with Zende. The two women argued, and ultimately Sasha blamed Maya for asking Nicole for another baby.

Elsewhere, someone complained to Wyatt that several models were wearing the same dress. Wyatt responded that they were supposed to be in matching dresses for the jewelry pass. Quinn told the jewelry models that they were about to make Forrester history and that there had never been a jewelry pass on the runway before.

The jewelry models, including Maya and Sasha, took the runway. The audience was confused and didn’t know what to do as the models and their matching black dresses served as a passive canvas for the jewelry. From backstage, Quinn lamented that the audience looked confused. Ridge walked up and agreed that it was bad.

Quinn was thankful that they still had the showstopper to round out the show, but Ridge said that he wasn’t going to put his gown out there after Quinn’s failed jewelry parade. “Ridge, you can’t be serious, we need the showstopper!” Quinn lamented.

While Eric and Katie liked the jewelry pass from their vantage point, Ridge was peeved that Quinn’s bright idea had ruined the flow of the show. Quinn insisted that Steffy go put on the showstopper, but Steffy refused. Quinn asked if Ivy could wear the gown, but Ivy said she was too tall, and that the gown was fitted for Steffy.

Quinn was beside herself and went off somewhere. Wyatt begged Steffy to put on the gown, and Ridge grumped at Wyatt, causing Wyatt to tell Ridge he was making this personal. Steffy said that maybe she should put the gown on, but Ridge said no.

Out in they audience, people got up and started to leave, but Rick and Brooke asked everyone to wait and said that the show wasn’t over. Just then, Wyatt realized he hadn’t told the lights and music person that the showstopper had been pulled, and so the lights dimmed, and the music began playing. Ivy announced the showstopper, and Ridge and Steffy approached the monitor.

Suddenly, someone was on stage wearing the showstopper. “Who’s wearing my gown?” Ridge asked, and the person turned around and it was Quinn. From the Forrester mansion, Eric was overjoyed to see Quinn in the gown. Ridge and Steffy were mortified. Quinn walked down the runway to great applause.

Ivy then announced Ridge as lead designer, and Ridge said he wasn’t going out there. Steffy told Ridge that he had to go, so Ridge reluctantly walked out onto the stage and joined Quinn on the runway. Ridge and Quinn joined hands, and through a smile, Ridge said, “How dare you?” “Oh, this little old thing?” Quinn said.

Ridge then said, “I hate you.” And Quinn said, “But someone had to wear it.” Ridge then told Quinn that he hated everything about her, as the two continued to smile for the crowd.
