The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) are on the verge of falling in love. Of course, Steffy’s also gearing up for an addiction storyline that’ll leave Finn desperate to help her. Finn and Steffy’s connection will inevitably deepen as he tries to get his new love back on the right path.
Since B&B’s obviously invested in Steffy and Finn’s romance, where does that leave Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle)? The Bold and the Beautiful can’t just leave Hope and Liam happily married forever.
There’ll have to be some problems that come up sooner or later – and those problems may tie in with Steffy and Finn.
Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) recently brought Liam up in an honest conversation with his sister. Thomas still feels like Steffy’s hurting over the loss of Liam and is struggling to move on.
Fortunately, that’s where Finn comes in. Finn can guide Steffy away from the Spencer men and into a committed, stable relationship with someone brand-new.
However, happy “Sinn” and happy “Lope” aren’t going to bring much drama. Instead, Steffy and Finn’s relationship could stir up some complicated feelings for Liam.
That’s especially true after Steffy’s battle with addiction takes a toll. It could leave Liam wishing he was the one Steffy was leaning on. Liam might find himself wondering about what might’ve been.
It’s even possible Liam will make a passionate plea and try to get “Steam” going again. Although it’s great to see B&B inching Steffy toward a new man, there’s one thing that’d make this story even more satisfying. Since Steffy has chased after Liam too many times and lost, this is her chance to make Liam face a brutal rejection.
It’d serve Liam right if he begged to get back together and Steffy shot him down. Steffy might insist Liam is her past and Finn is her future! Liam and Steffy will always be connected as friends and co-parents, but Steffy might make it clear that a “Steam” reunion isn’t happening.
Would you like to see Steffy stand strong and reject Liam’s attempt to reunite? How would Hope feel about Liam longing for Steffy again – even if Steffy wouldn’t take him? That might be a fantastic way to cause some Liam and Hope marriage issues down the road.
