The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Wednesday, August 19, tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will have some persuasive words for Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
As B&B viewers know, Thomas and Steffy have been spending quite a bit of time together lately, as Thomas has been worried about Steffy since her motorbike accident. And that means that Thomas has seen firsthand how much pain Steffy encounters on a daily basis.
Well, Thomas doesn’t like seeing his sister in pain, so he inquired about whether she was still taking her prescription pain meds, and Steffy let Thomas know that she had taken her last pain pill and had stepped down to over-the-counter pain relievers.
That didn’t sit well with Thomas, who could clearly see that Steffy was in excruciating pain and needed something heavier than Ibuprofen.
According to B&B spoilers, Thomas will ultimately convince Steffy that she needs to be more up-front with her medical team about her true level of pain. Steffy, who usually advocates for herself very well, has been hesitant to admit how much pain she’s in.
It seems that part of this is coming from Steffy wanting to tough it out and from her wanting to avoid misusing the powerful prescription meds.
But Thomas will get Steffy to reach out, and it appears that Steffy will place a call to her ER doctor, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), to inquire about getting more pain meds.
Ongoing B&B spoilers for later in the week say that Finn will struggle with whether or not to prescribe a refill of the meds to Steffy, so we should see some internal conflict there.
Meanwhile, on the new episode of B&B on Wednesday, August 19. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will do his best to seek forgiveness from Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).
Right now, Brooke is completely dismayed about how Ridge apparently divorced her and then married Shauna Fulton Forrester (Denise Richards) all within the span of a couple hours. Brooke feels like Ridge just threw their marriage aside, and Ridge has some explaining to do.
Of course, for Ridge, there’s really nothing to explain, since he doesn’t remember texting Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and instructing him to file the divorce papers.
And there’s a good reason for that – Ridge didn’t actually do it. Shauna is the one who texted Carter pretending to be Ridge, and she did it all on Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) instruction. It’s a big mess, and all Ridge can really say to Brooke now is that he doesn’t remember any of it.
We’ll see whether Brooke ultimately gives in and allows Ridge to apologize and make things right. Ongoing spoilers for later in the week suggest that a walk down memory lane will help Brooke and Ridge to put this current situation into perspective and realize that they can overcome this…but that’s all assuming that Shauna’s going to agree to an annulment, and it’s probably better not to assume that!
