The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that there’ll be plenty of blame to go around after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) gets hooked on prescription painkillers.
The trouble started with the accident that caused Steffy’s injuries and put her in the hospital – the accident that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) caused! You can bet Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will hold Bill responsible when Steffy’s life starts spinning out of control.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), on the other hand, may find two other men to blame. Since Bill is Liam’s father and they’ve managed to mend their relationship for the most part, Liam shouldn’t be quick to hold Bill at fault. This wasn’t a deliberate act to hurt Steffy – and Bill has nothing to do with Steffy’s treatment.
Steffy is Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) patient, so he has a responsibility to make sure Steffy’s only prescribed what she needs. Unfortunately, Finn may feel pressured into giving Steffy more pain meds after she opens up about intense agony.
If Finn caves in and sparks Steffy’s addiction, Liam may blame Finn for going against his instincts and letting emotions get in the way.
It’s easy to imagine a confrontation where Liam rages about how Finn should’ve been a better doctor. Liam’s always going to be protective of Steffy anyway, but the safety of their daughter is also part of all this.
Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) will be at risk once Steffy’s hooked on drugs, so that’ll be another reason for Liam’s fury to erupt.
Of course, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) may not be spared either. Liam and Thomas were rivals due to Thomas’ previous obsession with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but their B&B rivalry could come roaring back over Steffy’s drug battle. As Thomas pushes Steffy to seek more meds, he’ll set her up for disaster.
Thomas might even bring up getting drugs from Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) if Finn doesn’t come through for Steffy. Let’s say Steffy’s still in pain following a refill that Finn reluctantly offers. Would Thomas have sympathy over Steffy’s plight and point out that Vinny could get her more pills?
If so, Thomas would become an enabler and that would certainly rile Liam up down the road. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam might find himself looking for someone to blame once Steffy’s life falls apart, so Finn and Thomas may get vilified.
