The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 14, reveal that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) arrived at the cliff house, and Steffy was thrilled to find out that Kelly Spencer (Colette and Avalon Gray) was in the nursery sleeping. Steffy raced into the nursery, while Finn gazed at the photo of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy on the wall.
In the Forrester CEO office, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) showed Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) some of his designs and noted that she should keep the door open to him where Hope For The Future was concerned.
Meanwhile, Liam brooded across the room, and soon Thomas called him out on it. Liam started blustering about Finn inserting himself into Steffy’s life, and Hope and Thomas looked exasperated.
Liam then got a call from Amelia (Nicola Poesner), who told him that she took Kelly to Steffy’s place and that Steffy was home from the rehab facility. Liam was thrilled, but his face fell when he heard that Finn had arranged the whole thing. Liam hung up and started ranting about how Finn didn’t run this by him. Hope thought that Finn was just trying to do something nice for Steffy.
Liam kept blustering and rushed out of the office, while Thomas noticed that this greatly upset Hope. Thomas noted that Hope seemed awfully focused on Liam rushing over to Steffy’s, and he worried that Liam might rush over there and ruin Steffy’s reunion with Kelly.
Hope said that she wished that Liam would just chill out where Steffy and Finn were concerned.
Thomas then surprised Hope by agreeing with Liam that Finn did get personally involved with his patient, but Hope thought that there was nothing wrong with Steffy having a new, hot man in her life. “Steffy seems to have found a winner here. I wish that Liam could see that, too,” Hope said.
Back at the cliff house, Finn explained how he arranged her reunion with Kelly, and Steffy was very grateful for Finn, saying that she’d never forget what he’s done for her.
After some discussion about Steffy’s intervention, Liam took the liberty of walking into the cliff house and interrupting Steffy and Finn’s conversation. Finn looked astonished.
Liam gushed about how happy and proud he was of Steffy, and Finn looked a bit uncomfortable with the whole scene. Kelly fussed on the baby monitor, and Steffy excitedly went in to interact with her daughter.
It didn’t take long for Liam to turn to Finn and blast him for trying to cut him out of Steffy’s reunion with Kelly.
Liam continued, saying that Steffy was Finn’s patient and that he had caused harm to her with his lack of objectivity. Finn tried to get a word in edgewise, but Liam barreled on, saying that Finn could have prevented this dark chapter in Steffy’s life.
Liam kept interrupting Finn, saying that Finn would never stop him from looking out for Steffy, and that Finn should find another patient to date. Finn absorbed all of Liam’s words.
In the Forrester design office, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) were looking at Zende’s designs when Carter came in looking for Zoe. “How do you feel about surprises?” Carter asked.
Zoe said that she loved them, and Carter was pleased, since he had a big surprise for her. Zende joked about how he wanted to go, but Carter laughingly said that this was for Zoe alone.
A short time later, Carter led Zoe into a loft that used to be Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye). Carter explained that he bought the place and that he had ditched his bachelor pad.
Carter wondered if the place met with Zoe’s approval, because he wanted her to spend a lot of time there.
Carter then held up a key and said that he had it made for her. “I know we haven’t been together for long, but this feels so right. Move in with me, Zoe,” Carter said. Zoe looked happy but a bit hesitant.
