The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) have just taken a very big step in their burgeoning relationship.
Steffy and Finn recently declared their love for each other, and they couldn’t be happier. This is great news for scores of fans who wanted Steffy to move on with a hot new guy, as she certainly seems to be doing exactly that!
But Steffy’s decision to move on is going to continue to be challenging tor Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Even though Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) managed to get through to Liam, and even though Liam’s realizing that he needs to let Steffy live her own life, something tells us that it’s going to be a shock to Liam when he realizes that Finn and Steffy aren’t just dating, but that they’re in love.
According to B&B spoilers, Liam will continue to keep a watchful eye on Steffy going forward, even though he’ll probably back off a bit and not be so overtly overprotective where Steffy’s concerned.
But we have to wonder about some of Liam’s concerns about Finn, because on soaps, when one character has seemingly irrational fears about another character, those fears sometimes end up being totally realized in the end.
Sure, TPTB will probably give Steffy a period of true happiness with Finn. After all, Steffy deserves a solid relationship with someone new who’s worthy of her trust and affections, especially considering all the hardships that Steffy’s had in the recent past.
It’s time for Steffy and Finn to shine, and they surely will for a while.
But at some point, some sort of drama will have to set in for the couple. After all, this is B&B, and relationship drama is paramount, so at some point, some sort of issues will surely set in for Steffy and Finn.
The problems might be relatively minor at first, but you never know, especially since Liam has made such a big deal about Finn being one to cross ethical lines. What if it turns out in the end that Liam had a reason to be concerned about Finn, and he ends up crossing more lines in the future?
Time will tell what happens, and it’s all up to TPTB about how far they want to take things, but we have a feeling that Finn could have some skeletons in his closet.
Characters that seem too good to be true tend to be just that on soaps, and you never know when a presumed dead wife or girlfriend could show up, or perhaps an overbearing mom who doesn’t get along with Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylor) and causes big problems.
Really, the sky’s the limit when it comes to Finn, since he’s such a blank slate right now. The writers could take Finn in all sorts of directions or give him any sort of sinister backstory they want. Of course, “SINN” fans aren’t going to be happy if it turns out that Liam was right in all his suspicions, but it could happen!
We’ll see what happens here, but given the nature of B&B and the relationship drama that’s always front and center, it’s only a matter of time before some sort of turmoil hits Finn and Steffy’s relationship.
