The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will soon be back on canvas. As you may be aware, Ashley Jones recently shared on her Instagram feed that she’s returning to the show shortly. According to a photo of a script cover that she shared with her fans, she should be back for an episode that’s currently scheduled to air on Monday, March 30.
Of course, it’s likely that won’t be the only episode that Bridget will appear in. Hopefully, we’ll see her back for an extended stay, although we currently have no word on exactly how long the character will be remaining on the show for this visit. Bridget was last seen on canvas back in 2018 when she visited her family for Christmas.
One does wonder, though, exactly what will bring Bridget back to Los Angeles this time. It seems like it would take a major event to bring her back…like perhaps a wedding or a funeral.
Given that she’ll be returning at the end of March, that leaves open the possibility that a major event will be taking place around that time. But what could it be?
Ashley Jones herself teased in one of her Instagram posts about her return. She said: “Was a good day being back on #BoldandBeautiful as Bridget. I really missed it here. Xo why do you think Bridget is back!?”
Well, if the event that gets Bridget back is a wedding, then it would probably need to be the wedding of someone who’s close in relation to Bridget. It could always be a wedding involving Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), in the event that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) manipulations work and Hope ends up marrying Thomas again.
Naturally, A Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wedding with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), would be a major event.
Then again, there’s always the possibility that Hope could marry Liam, although given the way the storyline is progressing right now, that seems a bit less likely. Still, it’s not outside of the realm of possibility that Hope and Liam could patch things up and tie the knot again.
Of course, another possibility is that Bridget comes back for a sad event, like a funeral. TPTB have promised that a beloved character will die on B&B in 2020, and so far it’s looked like that will be Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who was recently diagnosed with a terminal illness.
However, Sally’s illness could always end up being a fake out, with someone else actually dying – perhaps someone who’s death would require Bridget to return to Los Angeles for the funeral. It’s a terrible thought, but someone like Eric Forrester (John McCook) could wind up dying, which would certainly bring Bridget back.
