The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) new man has been cast according to B&B Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell. The show’s got a new actor who’ll work primarily with Wood in plenty of upcoming scenes. There’s no word on who’ll be playing this new character, so it’s all about waiting on the official announcement right now.
In the meantime, The Bold and the Beautiful fans have been discussing their hopes for Steffy’s new hunk and what kind of actor they’d like. Viewers have tossed around casting ideas for years – and everyone’s got a different vision for Steffy’s perfect man!
There’s one actor who’d probably be the ideal fit as Steffy’s love interest. If you’ve seen Brandon Barash on Days of Our Lives as Jake Lambert and Stefan DiMera, you might agree that he’d be fantastic as a new character paired with Steffy.
Barash has tons of fans from his time as General Hospital’s Johnny Zacchara as well. He’s got just the right amount of charm and swagger! Of course, it doesn’t seem too likely that Barash is the mystery man that’s been cast.
Although Barash isn’t on contract at Days of Our Lives, he’s still been sharing content for the show and doesn’t seem to have hit the exit door.
It sounds like the current mystery man is someone else, but that doesn’t mean we can rule out a future stint at B&B for Barash. Who knows what might happen down the road? Why limit Steffy to just one love interest?

The Bold and the Beautiful would have more money to toss around – and that’s often a quick way to lure someone. If the price is right, Barash might hop over B&B at some point. Of course, Barash has become quite beloved with Days fans, so they wouldn’t want to lose him. It’s too bad Barash can’t be a leading man on all the soaps at once.
Bottom line, Barash seems to be sticking with Days of Our Lives for now, but The Bold and the Beautiful would be smart to keep their eye on him. In the meantime, we can await the big reveal of Steffy’s current mystery man and hope he’s got the same appeal.
