The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, June 22 - Liam Punches Bill After Learning They’re Father & Son

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Monday, June 22, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on September 1, 2010. The episode will kick off “Emmy-Winning Performances” week on B&B. It was this episode that gave Scott Clifton (portraying Liam Cooper, who eventually became Liam Spencer) a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor.

The episode will begin at Spencer Publications as Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Liam Cooper (Scott Clifton) try to process the news that they are father and son.

Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) and Hope Logan (Kim Matula) will be in the office as well, and Liam will be a mess of emotions in the wake of the paternity news – he definitely won’t be in the mood to celebrate.

Bill will say that he’s not ready to be a father, but he’ll think that he and Liam can work it out. Talk will turn to Liam’s mother, Kelly Cooper. Bill will tell Liam that his mom was beautiful and successful in a cutthroat business, and that she had clearly made a conscious decision to keep Liam away from his father.

Bill will say that he had wanted to reunite with Kelly, but that she never returned his calls and they lived too far away from each other.

Hope and Katie will eventually leave the room at Bill’s request, and Bill will tell Liam that he’ll be well cared-for, which will irritate Liam. Bill will hear about how Liam asked about his father over the years, but that Kelly would dismiss his questions.

Finally, on Kelly’s deathbed, she handed him a folder with information in it, saying that he’d find his father at Forrester Creations.

Liam will tell Bill that as his mother was dying, she ran her fingers through his hair and said, “handsome is as handsome does.” This will apparently have some special meaning for Bill, but he won’t share what he’s thinking with Liam.

Bill will want Liam to work at Spencer Publications in the IT department, but Liam will remain agitated, saying that he doesn’t want a handout from Bill.

The conversation will turn contentious, as Liam tells Bill that he doesn’t want or need him to make up for lost years. Bill will get sarcastic, saying: “What do you want? Do you want me to come over and read you a bedtime story?”

Liam will have had enough, and boiling over with emotions, he’ll punch his father. Bill will be stunned yet impressed, saying that Liam might be a Spencer after all.

At the door outside the office, Katie and Hope will eavesdrop, trying to hear what’s going on with Bill and Liam. Hope will say that she can’t imagine what it would be like to have her bio dad suddenly show up.

Katie and Hope will talk a bit about Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), then Katie will ask why Hope had agreed to help Liam given that he had embarrassed her and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) so much.

Hope will say that she doesn’t think that Liam intended to hurt anyone, and that they shouldn’t be discussing the situation, since Forrester Creations and Spencer Publications were involved in litigation.

Meanwhile, at Forrester Creations, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) and Ridge Forrester (Ronn Moss) will try their best to comfort Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon), who will be devastated at having learned he’s not Liam’s biological father.

Thorne will lament that he had loved Kelly and that he had been searching for a purpose ever since Darla Forrester (Schae Harrison) died. Stephanie and Ridge will do what they can to soothe a despondent Thorne.

Over in Thorne’s office, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be hiding out when Oliver Jones (Zack Conroy) finds her there. Steffy will tell Oliver that everyone hates her, including her brother. She’ll wonder if Oliver finds her to be too controlling, and Oliver will stammer, trying to answer delicately.

Steffy will then ask Oliver about how he and Hope are getting along these days. Oliver will think that their relationship is good, and Steffy will notice that Oliver is packing up his things and she’ll wonder why. Oliver will explain that he’s leaving Forrester Creations before he gets fired, but Steffy won’t want Oliver to leave.
