The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the CBS soap could be making some story adjustments that fans will like. There’s been plenty of talk about plans for new storylines, which could be an indicator that a crucial old one will wrap up quickly. Will B&B end Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) scam story fast and just move on?
If The Bold and the Beautiful had been able to film and air as planned, Sally’s storyline probably would’ve had a lot of gas left in the tank. Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) was the only one in the loop on Sally’s terminal illness scheme when we last left off.
Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) bashed Flo in the head, which knocked her out and left Sally to help Penny try to move Flo’s unconscious body.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) arrived home unexpectedly, but what did he see when he walked through the door? Even if Sally and Penny got Flo out of there in time, B&B may not stretch this out for too long.
They might throw Flo in captivity for a bit or let her battle amnesia briefly, but this whole storyline has lost momentum. It’s tough to imagine this being something the show drags out.
Based on the sound of all the behind-the-scenes plans, it seems like there’s a real push for new and different. The Bold and the Beautiful Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell has really worked out his long-term vision according to an interview with Soap Opera Digest.
This time off has allowed Bell to make some grand plans – ones that’ll propel B&B forward with some shockers and shakeups.
It feels like it’d be wise to conclude Sally’s scam drama quickly and focus on the aftermath of it all. They’ve shown more than enough of Sally tricking Wyatt and everyone else. It’s time to see what happens when Sally’s deception is publicly exposed!
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say the show will deliver a special recap episode to remind everyone of how we arrived at that big cliffhanger. That sounds like the perfect setup for fresh content that’ll hopefully work toward wrapping things up. Out with the old and in with the new as far as storylines go!
