The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, June 12, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on February 14, 2012. In the episode, Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) will gather with their family and friends for their destination wedding in Provence, France. Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will have arranged for the beautiful ceremony.
Various conversations and interactions will take place before the wedding. Sofia Dupre Winters (Julia Pace Mitchell) will watch as Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) pays a little too much attention to Yolanda “Harmony” Hamilton (Debbi Morgan) as they’re out on a walk with Moses Winters (Phoenix & Zion Collins). Later, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will corner Harmony, noting that she seems to enjoy living the good life.
Lily will ask Neil to escort her down the aisle even though she previously said she wanted to walk alone, and Neil will be touched. Jill will ask Cane if he’s sorry that Genevieve Atkinson (Genie Francis) won’t be attending the wedding. Cane will indicate that Genevieve isn’t there for a good reason. Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will tell Harmony that he’s glad she’s there.
Lily will get some special presents from Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams) and Abby Newman (Emme Rylan), including a bracelet that once belonged to Colleen Carlton (Tammin Sursok) and a comb that once belonged to Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell). Lily will be moved by the gifts, saying that she feels both women’s presence on this special day.
Unbeknownst to everyone, Genevieve will manage to have found out from Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) where the wedding will be held, and she’ll show up and watch the wedding ceremony from afar. Lily and Cane will be married in a beautiful, small ceremony near a fountain, as Jill spots Genevieve watching the whole thing in tears.
In Genoa City, preparations will be underway for Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) birthday party – her first birthday since she beat cancer. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Katherine will be on hand for the event, as will Esther and Patrick Murphy (Michael Fairman).
At Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) and Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) home, they’ll be preparing to go to the party when Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) walks into the house wanting some baking sheets, followed by her mother Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach). Anita will make some remark, and Billy will mention that time he missed with Delia when he was in jail at Myanmar.
At the Newman Ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that she’s going to Delia’s party without him, since Victor wasn’t invited due to his ongoing battle with Billy. Victor will ask Nikki to take his gift to Delia for him. Later, at the party, Delia will open her gift from Victor, which will be a saddle. She’ll be thrilled.
Elsewhere, Anita will caution Chelsea about not falling for Billy. Chelsea will say that she knows what she’s doing and that she’s not in love with Billy. After the party, at Crimson Lights, Victoria, Nikki, and Billy will have coffee together, and Victoria will comment that Chelsea has been acting more friendly since she and Anita moved into the garage apartment. Nikki will take note that Anita moved in, and Billy will think that Chelsea and Anita are working for Victor.
Back at Billy and Victoria’s home, Nikki will quiz Chelsea about Anita living with her, and she’ll express an interest in meeting Anita. But that will be put on hold when Chelsea unexpectedly announces that she’s in labor!
Finally, at the Newman Ranch, Victor will chat with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) about Genevieve and her potential sale of Beauty of Nature. Michael will relay that Genevieve had gone to Paris, and Victor will ask Michael to find out why. Later, Victor will answer the door and it will be Anita. Victor will say that she knows better than to come to his home.
