The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a familiar face is headed back to Genoa City. According to SOD, Judith Chapman is reprising her role as Gloria Fisher Bardwell. The last time Y&R fans saw Gloria was back in 2018, but she’ll return to GC this October – and there’ll undoubtedly be a good reason why!
During the week of October 5-9, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will play the waiting game. The Young and the Restless spoilers say a special delivery’s set to arrive for Chloe and Kevin, so that’s obviously their impending bundle of joy.
Chloe’s pregnant with Kevin’s baby boy, so that should be at least partly why Gloria will show back up.
Gloria will want to meet her new grandson when the time comes. It’s great that The Young and the Restless is getting Grandma Gloria in on the fun! Gloria has certainly had her issues with Chloe over the years, so she may trade barbs with her once more.
However, Gloria can appreciate the fact that Chloe’s bringing Kevin’s child into the world and giving Bella Fisher (Martie Blair) a little brother. We might see a softer moment or two thrown in under the circumstances.
Chloe’s delivery will come with some curveballs, but the kiddo should be just fine in the end. That’ll be great news for Kevin, Chloe and everyone who cares about their family’s future.
Naturally, Gloria will want to reconnect with her other son, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), while she’s in town. Michael’s scenes with his mom are always a treat, so we’ll definitely look forward to those.
Gloria can be a bit of a drama queen, but we mean that in the best possible way! Soaps need characters like Gloria to stir the pot. The Young and the Restless spoilers say this is just a visit, but we’ll take whatever we can get.
