The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) past may continue to shape her future. Y&R fans know Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) has fallen hard for Lola and really wants to see where things might lead. However, Lola’s been dragging her feet on a real romance with Theo.
It seems Lola’s still dealing with issues thanks to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) suddenly deciding he was still in love with Summer Newman (Hunter King). Lola thought she married the man of her dreams, but Kyle never really got over Summer.
It’s easy to see why Lola would be hesitant to rush into another relationship so soon after splitting from Kyle. Lola’s heart is still healing – and maybe it always will be. Theo will have to be patient if Lola decides she’s willing to give this romance a true shot.
Of course, things are bit up in the air right now since Lola opened that Miami restaurant, which is sure to keep her busy. Lola dashed off to handle a problem at the construction site before the shutdown, so no one knows for certain what’ll happen once new Y&R episodes return.
However, if Lola ends up sticking around Genoa City, she seems poised to fall for Theo sooner or later. The Young and the Restless has spent a great deal of time building Lola and Theo’s connection – even before ”Kola’s” breakup. Lola’s always been able to bring out the best in Theo and see positive attributes in him that others can’t.
Theo often makes mistakes, but he wants to be a better man for Lola. If Y&R makes this a heartfelt love story, it’ll be interesting to see how far they take it. Would Lola be willing to remarry one day? Do you think Theo has potential as Lola’s new husband?
That would obviously be something that’d happen way down the line, but it’s worth considering now. Lola needs to think about whether Theo is marriage material – or at least long-term commitment material. It’s best to look ahead before Lola winds up in another situation like the one she faced with Kyle.
In the end, it seems Lola didn’t know Kyle as well as she thought she did. Lola sees Theo as someone who’s good at his core despite his epic blunders, but she’d be wise to look a little closer. Lola has to make sure the good in Theo is legit!
