The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, October 5, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find out a secret. Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) are hiding their elopement plan from Nick and everyone else, but it actually looks like this secret will involve a different daughter.
Y&R fans know Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) was upset over the story about her kidnapping and switch as a baby. Although Faith knew that it happened, it was hard seeing all the details laid out in an exposé.
Sadly, Faith’s facing some bullying due to Chance Comm’s very public article – and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) could soon get a clue about that.
Mariah will at least know Faith’s not OK like she claims to be. Once Nick gets updates, he’ll sit down for another conversation with Faith and will get her to open up a bit more.
From there, Nick will focus on his anger toward Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Since Victoria joined forces with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Nick will feel like Victoria bears some responsibility in her niece’s suffering.
In the coming episodes, Nick and Victoria will be at odds. Another Newman feud’s going to explode, so these siblings should be at war for a while.
Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll do something risky. Since Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) surrender to passion on Friday, they’ll have to decide how to proceed Monday.
Nate may be interested in round two – or perhaps the risk will involve meeting with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) soon after this steamy incident.
Devon may notice if Nate and Elena are acting strange, but they could easily blame it on Jared’s (Michael Maclane) overdose. Whatever the case, Devon certainly won’t suspect that they’ve been betraying him at the clinic!
Elena and Nate will become secret-keepers for now, but Elena will already be on the verge of cracking before the week’s over.
In the meantime, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will get support from Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) as they await the birth of their son. Y&R spoilers say Chloe will be sick and tired of this pregnancy, so Kevin will hope he can inject some humor into the situation.
Unfortunately, Chloe won’t be amused – and that should bring quite an outburst! It’ll take Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) sharing the story of Chloe’s birth to remind Chloe of what this is all about – bringing new life into the world and gaining a child to love.
