The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for next two weeks tease that some tense moments are on the way. During the week of August 24-28, Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) memories will start coming back to him. He’ll hear voices in his sleep and become determined to unlock this crucial piece of his childhood.
Despite how drained Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) was after their previous session, she won’t be willing to bail on Adam when he needs her. Adam will be rocked by flashbacks of himself as a young boy in Kansas.
He’ll recall confronting AJ Montalvo after AJ delivered threats to Hope Wilson. Before Adam can remember anything else, he’ll snap back to the present and rush out of Sharon’s house.
Once Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) realizes Adam’s gone missing, she’ll lash out at Sharon. Chelsea won’t think Adam’s capable of handling his much pressure.
Things will get worse when Sharon secretly scores Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) private jet for a Kansas trip. Sharon will think Adam must be back on the farm – trying to force those last puzzle pieces to the surface.
Victor will put his faith in Sharon as a professional and someone who’s been able to get through to Adam in the past. Chelsea will be outraged when she realizes Victor gave Sharon the jet.
She’ll even order Victor to have the pilot turn it around! However, it looks like Victor will refuse and trust Sharon to handle this.
Chelsea will decide Victor’s made the wrong call, so she’ll go to Kansas herself. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea won’t be prepared for what she finds.
Could Chelsea catch Adam and Sharon kissing? If Adam’s memories flood back, he could easily lock lips with Sharon in a vulnerable moment. Then again, Adam might just be a weeping mess in Sharon’s arms. Whatever the case, Chelsea will make a discovery that rocks her to the core.
It’s safe to say this Kansas trip will affect Chelsea and Adam’s relationship in a big way. It looks like things will head downhill rapidly for “Chadam.”
What about Sharon’s relationship with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso)? Rey and Sharon have taken an honest approach to their reunion so far, but that could change soon enough. Secrets could start pulling “Shey” apart if they aren’t careful.
On a happier note, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) romance should be off and running. There’s a good chance they’ll go on that simple date they talked about – and there’s an even better chance that it’ll go well!
Theo and Lola are really on the same page about pursuing new dreams in Genoa City, so there’ll be a lot for them to connect over.
Lola will test Theo somehow, but that could just mean Theo will test some new dishes at the restaurant.
Theo’s always impressed by Lola’s new creations. Even if Lola has a genuine test to decide whether they’ll enter a true relationship, Theo’s probably going to pass. Y&R seems ready to move forward on Theo and Lola’s blooming love.
Still, is there anything left between Lola and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)? Kyle has insisted Summer Newman (Hunter King) is the only woman in his heart, but he’ll wind up sharing an emotional moment with Lola. As Lola and Kyle’s divorce is finalized, it may hit them both harder than they thought.
Summer will make a major decision regarding her future in the week ahead, so she might see a new career on the horizon. Could Summer bail on Jabot? Summer might be tempted to work at Newman Enterprises or even join forces with her mom, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), on this escape club project.
While Summer chooses a new path to happiness, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will rise to the challenge at Chancellor Communications. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will force Billy to step up his game, but something tells us Billy will go above and beyond. Billy’s penchant for risk-taking should come in handy.
During the week of August 31-September 4, Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) will pop back up – and she’ll undoubtedly fit back in Adam’s AJ Montalvo story. Will Adam recall killing AJ and deliver a heartfelt apology?
Will Alyssa play a role in uncovering the final puzzle pieces instead? Regardless, Y&R fans can expect to see Alyssa back on the scene for some intriguing scenes.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be more fallout in Genoa City. Victor will inevitably clash with his family throughout Adam’s struggles, but he won’t be willing to turn his back on his son. That should lead to more problems with the rest of the Newman family.
As for Summer, her scheming side is set to surface. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will enjoy being in victory mode, but her bad habits will rub off on Summer eventually.
Of course, scheming is something Summer’s certainly relied on in the past, but she’s grown since then – at least Kyle thought so. Kyle may end up rethinking his view of Summer in the near future.
Sharon will continue to deal with Adam drama, but a setback’s coming up in her cancer battle soon. Will it be Rey who Sharon relies on or Adam? Either way, that “Shadam” connection should strengthen now that they’re growing closer again.
Billy and Adam’s rivalry is also set to reignite in the coming weeks, so we should see the early stages of that. Victor may not be pleased by what “Billy Boy” is plotting! We’ll keep bringing you updates as other Y&R news emerges.
