The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) latest plan may come back to haunt her. Y&R fans know Phyllis is broke and trying to score enough money to pay a massive tax bill.
Phyllis is determined to retain ownership of The Grand Phoenix, but she may regret making her most recent pitch to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Victoria wasn’t entirely opposed to making Phyllis’ hotel the exclusive lodging for Newman’s associates and guests. She was, however, opposed to it being Phyllis’ hotel in the first place! Victoria refused to do business with Phyllis and sent her on her way.
Nevertheless, Victoria and Nikki Newman (Amelia Heinle) shared an intriguing moment afterward. Nikki noted it was too bad Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) wasn’t still the owner. Victoria’s wheels seemed to be turning as she suggested that’d be a different proposition entirely.
Although Victoria and Abby haven’t always gotten along, they’re both Newmans and solid businesswomen. Victoria trusts Abby on a deal like this, which is more than she can say when it comes to Phyllis. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis may be on the verge of losing this hotel once again.
Victoria knows Phyllis was awfully eager to get an advance. It was something Phyllis mentioned repeatedly, so Victoria may come to the conclusion that Phyllis needs quick cash. Victoria may launch a little investigation and see just how in over her head Phyllis really is.
That could lead to tipping off Abby and setting her up to regain control of The Grand Phoenix. This is Phyllis’ baby and her reason for getting up in the morning! Phyllis isn’t going to be happy if Abby swoops in and reaps the benefits – especially when it comes to this amazing escape club Phyllis loves to brag about.
If Abby gets full ownership of the hotel, all Phyllis’ hard work may go down the drain. This is the kind of blow that could sink Phyllis to the lowest of lows, but you can bet risky revenge would follow.
If Phyllis retaliates against backstabbing Victoria and hotel-grabby Abby, it could kick off a chain reaction that’d cause trouble with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)!
