The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 11, tease that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will update Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) on Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) condition at the hospital.
Elena will say that they removed a bullet fragment from Chance’s lung and repaired a severe laceration, and that they need to monitor him closely. Abby will go to Chance’s room and talk to him lovingly, tearfully urging him to come back to her.
Meanwhile, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will question Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Adam’s penthouse. Adam will play dumb about Chance’s shooting and about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) going missing, and when Rey asks for an alibi, Adam will shut down, lawyer up, and tell Rey to get out.
After Rey goes, Adam will imagine seeing Young Adam (Dane West), who will tell Adam that he shouldn’t have tried to go through with his revenge plan. Adam will lament that the bullet was meant for him, and that now Chance might lose his life.
Over at Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Chance’s shooting and how Chance implicated Adam.
Billy will think that it’s gold for another story, but Lily will balk, saying that there are no facts and that they need confirmation. Billy will head over to the hospital to fish for information, much to Lily’s chagrin.
At Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get a call from Rey, who will update her on Chance implicating Adam. Rey will be worried about Adam possibly seeking Sharon out, and Sharon will worry that she caused Adam to do this.
Rey will talk Sharon down, then he’ll ask about where Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is.
After hanging up with Rey, Sharon will send a text, presumably to Jordan’s (Madison Thompson) mom, asking her to check on the girls again. Sharon will get a text back saying, “they’re fine, in the basement watching a movie.”
Lily will come in for some coffee, and she’ll think that Sharon looks like she could use a friend. Sharon will admit to being worried about Rey in the aftermath of Chance’s shooting.
Lily and Sharon will have a nice talk during which they share their respective experiences with cancer and their fears about recurrence.
Lily will think that Sharon would benefit from talking with other cancer survivors, and Sharon will get some insight into how her fears about Rey’s job and her fears of recurrence are similar.
Back at the hospital, Billy will find Abby in the waiting area and he’ll quickly realize that Abby doesn’t know that Adam is the #1 suspect in the shooting. Soon, Abby will realize that Billy isn’t there to support her, and that he’s there to get intel for a second exposé on Adam.
Abby will let Billy have it, and Billy will ultimately apologize and leave. As Billy leaves, Adam will be lurking in the hallway.
At the Chancellor mansion, Chelsea will describe her kidnapping ordeal to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Chelsea will wonder if anything happened to the Newmans while she was gone, and she’ll be relieved to learn that the answer is no.
Soon, Rey will arrive to talk with Chelsea, having heard that she was at the mansion from Kevin.
Rey will quiz Chelsea about why she wanted to meet up with Chance, and Chelsea will say that she was scared that Adam was being pushed past his limit and would retaliate against Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and even the whole Newman family.
Chelsea will tell Rey about being kidnapped and held at the same building where Chance was found, and she’ll say that she thinks Adam had her kidnapped so she wouldn’t interfere with his plan.
Chelsea will then tell Rey about finding the Newman Tower schematics on Adam’s laptop, which Rey will find very interesting. After Rey goes, Chelsea will talk with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) via phone, and she’ll have a hard time when Connor asks to talk with Adam.
Chelsea will hope that something or someone stops Adam from going any further than he already has.
Back at Chancellor Communications, Billy will return to find Lily there working. Billy will sit down somberly, and he’ll say that he realizes now that he was being overzealous and that he just caused Abby more pain.
Billy will relay that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is trying to get home, and Lily will ask if Billy plans to accompany Jill when she goes to the hospital. Billy will say yes, and Lily will think that Billy has learned nothing.
Back at Crimson Lights, Rey will show up and Sharon will be relieved. Rey will relay that Adam refused to answer questions without a lawyer, and Sharon will say that she talked with a friend earlier and that it put things into perspective.
Sharon will tell Rey that she’ll always worry about his job, but that he spent months worrying about her, and that’s the way it goes.
Finally, back at the hospital, Elena will check on Chance’s condition, and she’ll say that Chance’s vitals look good, so whatever Abby’s doing she should keep doing it. Abby will continue to talk lovingly to Chance, and he’ll suddenly move a little and regain consciousness.
Abby will be thrilled, and from outside the room, Adam will look in, see that Chance is awake, then take off.
