The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will face a devastating blow in the week ahead. Y&R fans know Sharon recently had surgery and has talked about her follow-up treatment plans. Sharon’s decision to serve as Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) therapist has caused some issues with her loved ones, but she’s following her doctors’ orders.
Naturally, Sharon’s hoping for good news when her latest pathology results come in. After the terrible battle Sharon’s endured, she’s just looking for some light at the end of the tunnel.
However, Sharon also knows she could get bad news instead. That’s partly why Sharon will want to visit her doctor without Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and deal with these results on her own.
In the past, Sharon has preferred to process updates on her own before sharing it with the people she cares about. It sounds like that’s the strategy Sharon will go for this time as well.
Of course, Rey won’t want Sharon to feel like she’s going through this alone. Rey can be a bit pushy and even controlling at times, but it’s coming from a place of love.
It’s obvious that Sharon’s health is Rey’s priority, though he tries to balance his concern with respecting her wishes – at least as best as he can! However, Sharon will ultimately find that she needs Rey for the next part of her difficult journey. Rey will eventually read Sharon’s results for himself and realize this is indeed bad news.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon’s cancer will return – and it’ll be worse than ever according to these pathology results. Sharon’s breast cancer will come roaring back and leave her wondering if it’s even possible for her to beat this. This will be a horrible setback for Sharon, who’ll certainly fear the possibility of death.
As Sharon’s world crashes down around her, she’ll crumble and desperately need Rey’s support. Rey will be there for Sharon and undoubtedly offer reassurance. Y&R fans can expect another tough chapter for Sharon, but Rey will surely vow to get his love through this.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will have to rely on “Team Sharon” more than ever, but things will turn around for her down the road. This is a story of hope and the benefits of early detection – and you can’t tell a story like that unless Sharon survives!
