The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) could fall into a temptation trap of his own making. Theo’s been doing his best to navigate things with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), but it isn’t easy. Lola’s struggling as she prepares for her divorce to be finalized, so she sometimes lashes out when Theo doesn’t deserve it.
Sleeping with Theo was more of a rebound than Lola previously admitted, so she seems poised to pull back. As Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) pointed out, Lola’s free to say no at any time.
Just because Lola said yes once doesn’t mean she has to continue sleeping with Theo right now. It’d be better for Lola to try again once that divorce is final.
However, Theo’s patience could start to wear thin, especially since we know Lola will play a bit hard to get soon. It sounds like we could have a very frustrated Theo – maybe one who longs for a hot night with no strings attached.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will once again sabotage himself this fall, so that means he’ll make another epic blunder.
Of course, Theo and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) had an intriguing conversation recently. Victoria accused Theo of hitting on her, and he later suggested Victoria was the one hitting on him. They left things on a playful note – and they both appeared to enjoy the mild flirting.
Now let’s consider this whole escape club thing that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has going. Phyllis has cleverly turned it into something that feels quite exclusive.
When Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) brought up the idea of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) booking an escape, Nikki suggested she was breaking the rules even by talking about it!
That’s by design since Phyllis knows keeping things hush-hush will make people spill the secret – just like Nikki did. What we want to concentrate on here is Nikki’s suggestion to Victoria. Doesn’t it seem odd for Nikki to make a random hotel sales pitch at the office? This is a plot point – plain and simple.
Victoria wasn’t interested in booking an escape, but what happens as her job becomes more stressful and other roadblocks hit? We have no doubt that Victoria will indeed need a break, so she should make her reservation.
Now that Nikki’s brought the idea up, Y&R’s surely going to have Victoria take the advice. Nikki felt confident an escape would be exactly what Victoria needed. She may be right, but probably not in the way Nikki anticipates!
Let’s tie all this together. Victoria will presumably be looking for a release of some sort – just like Theo. We also know Theo currently lives in a suite at The Grand Phoenix, which is running this escape club.
Y&R set the stage for something to happen through Victoria and Theo’s recent flirting. We’ve got that hint about Theo’s self-sabotage as well, so it’s all coming into focus.
Will Victoria hook up with Theo? Victoria’s awfully hard to please, so she may not really be feeling whatever escape Phyllis cooks up for her. That could lead Victoria down the hall for the ultimate escape with Theo – maybe even one they both agree is just for the night.
Sadly, one night can do a lot of damage! If Theo and Victoria sleep together, it could lead to serious backlash for Theo with both Lola and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Secrets have a way of getting out in Genoa City, so Theo had better proceed with caution. We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news rolls in.
