The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) has been thrown by the manner in which Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) has acted toward him in recent weeks. They just appeared to enter into a personal relationship, with Theo serving as the more cautious half of Tola.
Lola’s emotions remain understandably riled as a result of the cold manner in which Kola ended. While Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) didn’t set out to hurt Lola and wasn’t involved with Summer Newman (Hunter King) at the time his marriage to Lola suddenly ended, his decisions left a hurtful mark.

It’s interesting that the audience was put in the same position as Lola. Those who accepted what was being directly presented rightly believed that Kyle was looking for an alternative to Summer when he first saw Lola working in her food truck.
Kyle did fall in love with Lola and not only because she was the opposite of Summer. Calle’s character was distinctly different than any other woman he’d met in his still young life. It was on that basis that Kola made sense to him, Lola, and those within the audience who were open to something beyond Skyle.

Y&R’s Chancellor Park mini setting is one of it’s newer offerings. It also serves as a useful location during this time of ongoing workplace restrictions.
Lola just so happened to be walking through that section of the park when Kyle and Summer were proposing to each other on bended knees. That was total soap, but served to reinforce what’s driving Lola’s feelings.
Kyle was Lola’s first true love and then she married him. Who wouldn’t be devastated by the sad, quiet ending that played out?
Lola is still grieving the end of what she and the audience were led to believe was a love story that would endure far longer than a handful of months past the Kola wedding. So, as part of her recovery process, Lola decided to cut Theo loose.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Theo Vanderway Shouldn’t Give Up
On many ways, Theo has been phony. But he was fully sincere in coming to care for Lola.
Theo hadn’t fallen fully in love with Lola, but was serious in wanting to be involved with her. And, as both people know, Theo’s current actions had nothing to do with Kyle.
Lola needs time, which might enable a Tola rebound. But even if that doesn’t happen Theo should seek to revive his friendship with Lola in the measured future. She deserves and needs support right now and moving forward.
